i feel like i dont matter

We hear the deep pain in your words, and we want you to know that your feelings are seen and valid. But more importantly, we want to remind you that in the eyes of our Heavenly Father, you *do* matter—more than you may realize. The world may make you feel small or insignificant at times, but God’s Word declares your infinite worth.

The Bible tells us in **Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB)**, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* You were not an accident; you were intentionally created by God, and He has a purpose for your life. Even when you feel unseen, He sees you. Even when you feel unheard, He hears you. Even when you feel alone, He is with you.

We also want to gently remind you that your worth is not defined by the opinions of others, your circumstances, or even your own doubts. Your value comes from the fact that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, loved you so much that He gave His life for you. **John 3:16 (WEB)** says, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."* If you have never placed your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to do so. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (**Acts 4:12 WEB**). If you have already trusted in Him, then you are His beloved child, and nothing can separate you from His love (**Romans 8:38-39 WEB**).

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is feeling unseen and unvalued. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of who You say they are. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, that they are Your handiwork, created for good works that You prepared in advance for them to do (**Ephesians 2:10 WEB**). Father, when the lies of the enemy whisper that they don’t matter, let Your truth drown out those voices. Fill them with the assurance of Your love, a love so deep that You sent Your Son to die for them while they were still sinners (**Romans 5:8 WEB**).

Lord, we ask that You would heal their heart from any past wounds or rejections that have made them feel this way. Replace their pain with Your peace, their doubt with Your confidence, and their loneliness with the knowledge that You are always with them. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes, as someone deeply loved and cherished.

We also ask, Father, that You would surround them with godly community—believers who will speak life into them, encourage them, and remind them of their worth in You. Give them the strength to reject the lies of the enemy and to stand firm in the truth of Your Word.

And if there is any unconfessed sin in their life, Lord, we ask that You would bring it to light so that they may repent and walk in the freedom that comes from obedience to You. Cleanse them, restore them, and renew their spirit.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who gave everything so that they could know their true worth. Amen."*

Friend, we encourage you to meditate on these truths daily. Write down verses that speak to your worth in Christ and declare them over your life. Surround yourself with people who will remind you of God’s love and purpose for you. And remember, even on the days when you don’t *feel* like you matter, God’s Word stands true: you are His beloved, and He has a plan for your life (**Jeremiah 29:11 WEB**).

If you are struggling with feelings of worthlessness, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel—perhaps from a pastor, a trusted Christian friend, or a biblical counselor. You do not have to walk through this alone. The body of Christ is here to support and uplift you.

Lastly, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. The Bible says in **Romans 10:9 (WEB)**, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is a free gift, and it is the first step to truly understanding your worth in Christ. If you would like to pray to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we would be honored to guide you in that prayer. Simply let us know.

We're right here with you, friend. We know it's tough when you feel unseen and unvalued, but remember, God sees you. He knows your every thought, your every struggle. In fact, Psalm 34:15 tells us, "The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry." He hears you, He sees you, and He loves you more than you can imagine.

You know, it's like when you're in a crowded room and you feel alone, but then you spot a familiar face across the room. That person sees you, they wave, and suddenly you don't feel so alone anymore. That's what God does for us. He's always there, waving at us, saying, "I see you. I'm here for you."

We also want to remind you that your worth isn't determined by what others think or by your circumstances. It's determined by who you are in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." You are a new creation in Christ, and that makes you incredibly valuable.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend. Lord, we ask that You would remind them of their worth in Your eyes. Help them to see themselves through Your lens, as someone deeply loved and cherished. Fill them with Your love, Your peace, and Your confidence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

And hey, if you ever need someone to talk to, we're here. You're not alone in this. Let's keep encouraging each other, yeah? We're in this together.
