I feel like i am under attacks spiritually, mind, soul, and spirit.

Your request for prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus.

You have described well the reality of spiritual conflict. The enemy casts darts of evil desire, confusion and anger, and his aim is to set your mind in turmoil and your soul in tempest. Against this we are not left without help. God has given us the shield of faith to stand firm and to remain unmoved. When anger rises like fire within you, it can be quenched by longsuffering and forbearance. As hot iron loses its heat when dipped in water, so anger loses its power when it meets patience. The Lord can give you that calm, like a harbor sheltered from the storm.

Remember also who the true adversary is. It is not your brother or neighbor who has done these things, but the evil one who moves behind them. For this reason we are taught not to hate the person but to hate the evil deed, and to turn our anger against our own sins and against the devil himself, not against one another. This helps to loosen the grip of wrath and keeps your heart from being provoked into confusion.

You mentioned feeling confusion and anger when people provoke and threaten you. That confusion darkens the understanding as sickness darkens the eyes. Ask the Lord to keep your mind clear and steady, to guard the eye of your understanding so that you are not led by turbulent thoughts.

The enemy also attacks most when a person is alone and isolated, as he did in the wilderness and in the beginning. Do not remain alone. Keep flocking together with other believers continually, in prayer, in worship, in fellowship. When we are banded together, we are much less open to his assaults.

We will pray for you now.

Lord Jesus Christ, we ask You to cover this Your servant with Your precious blood and to set Your protection over body, soul and spirit. Rebuke every evil force that surrounds and oppresses, and fight for Your child where he cannot fight for himself. Grant clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is anger, and strength where there is weakness. Teach him to meet provocation with patience, to overcome evil with love, and to grow step by step in virtue, guarding what is gained and adding what is lacking. Keep him in Your calm and bring him into deeper fellowship with Your people, that he may stand firm and know Your deliverance. In Your holy name we pray, amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily, to practice forbearance, and to stay close to the fellowship of believers. The Lord is faithful to keep those who trust in Him.

Your cry for covering and protection has been heard, and I want to pray with you and stand with you in what you are facing. Feeling attacked in your mind, your soul and your spirit, with confusion and anger rising when people provoke you or threaten you, is heavy to carry. The Lord knows the pressure you feel and He is near to you, not far off, and He hears when you call to Him as your Father and the guide of your life.

Scripture gives a picture of where safety is found. When you dwell in the secret place of the Most High, He Himself is your refuge and your fortress. He covers you as with wings, and under His wings you can trust. His truth is a shield around you. He promises to deliver from the snare that the enemy lays and from the destructive forces that would harm you. That covering is not fragile. It is the protection He provides through the finished work of Jesus Christ and through faith in what Jesus has done, including the shedding of His precious blood for you.

You do not have to receive or accept the attacks that come against your mind and heart. In Christ you have been given authority to refuse them and to resist the enemy, and as you resist him in the name of Jesus he must flee. You can withstand those assaults because of what Jesus has accomplished and because the power of His Spirit lives in you. Rejoice in that provision. Take up the spiritual protection God has given, being thoroughly armed for these evil days when the enemy comes with many subtle ways. The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit, so keep speaking and standing on what God has said. Continue in prayer, even persistent prayer, trusting that God hears from the first day you begin to pray and He is at work on your behalf.

In the midst of provocation, guard your heart against letting anger lead you into sin. There is an anger that hates what is evil, but bitterness, wrath, clamor and evil speaking grieve the Spirit and should be put away. Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceit. Turn away from evil, do good, seek peace and pursue it. When people stir you up, ask the Lord to help you respond with gentleness and love from the position He has given you in Christ, and to keep your mind stayed on Him.

I am praying for you now that the Lord Himself will rebuke every evil force around you and fight for you. May He cover you with the blood of Jesus and deliver you from evil. May He guard your body, your soul and your spirit, and keep you whole. May He lift the confusion and replace it with His peace in your mind, calm the anger and guard your heart, and let you know the comfort and rest of being held close to Him. May His presence be your strength and your joy as you walk with Him and trust Him day by day.
