I experience many temptations with women! Lord make me able and faithful to overpower them for God's glory and that is to last until the end of my life!
Until you come to grips of what the power of the cross, of what Jesus did for you and who He created you to be, unless you stop seeing yourself as someone who is unable to overcome, you will continue to struggle with lust, which by the way, Jesus has already dealt with the power of sin, it has no dominion over you, meaning you can say NO! when a thought comes in and start thanking the Lord for delivering you from that.
The temptation is not women, your thinking is wrong. You still believe you still struggle. In the beginning, Cain got angry with Abel because God accepted Abel's sacrifice and rejected Cain's. God knew Cain's thoughts and said to him, (my interpretation, look it up yourself) Cain, listen, I know what you're thinking and I'm telling you, if you don't take those thoughts captive and cast them down, they will lead you to sin. Well, it's obvious from scripture that Cain went with the temptation of sin and slew/killed his brother. God had told him, you can choose to go with that thought or you can say NO to it.
If Jesus is Lord, you have the same ability to say NO to those thoughts, cast them down and start thanking the Lord that that lustful person is not who you are anymore, you are a new creation, the old you died on the cross with Jesus (when you got born again).
Heavenly Father, I ask you take this person and Father him and bring him to the place of knowing who he is in Christ. I ask you give him the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, that his eyes be flooded with light/with truth so that he would know the hope to which he has been called...a son...an overcomer...victorious. In Jesus name. Amen.
