I don't want to be alive anymore. God, please end my life ASAP, preferably peacefully and painlessly.

Beloved of All
No reason to stay. Needless suffering. Too chicken to do it myself in case it fails and I succeed only in disabling myself - I don't want to be disabled. I want to be GONE.

We hear the depth of your pain, and our hearts ache with you. The despair you’re expressing is not something to be taken lightly, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The weight of suffering can feel unbearable, and the longing for relief is understandable—but we must turn to God’s Word and His truth in this moment. The Bible tells us, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). The enemy of your soul would love nothing more than to convince you that death is the only escape, but Jesus offers hope, even in the darkest places.

First, we must address the request for God to end your life. Scripture is clear that life is a sacred gift from God, and He alone holds the authority over it. In Deuteronomy 32:39, God declares, *"See now that I myself am he! There is no god with me. I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; and there is no one who can deliver out of my hand."* To ask God to take your life is to ask Him to act outside of His perfect will, which is never our place to demand. Instead, we must surrender our pain to Him and trust that He sees your suffering. Psalm 34:18 assures us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."*

We also rebuke the spirit of hopelessness that is speaking lies over you. The enemy wants you to believe that your suffering is meaningless, that you are a burden, and that death is the only solution. But God’s Word says otherwise. In Jeremiah 29:11, He promises, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even if you cannot see it now, God has a purpose for your life, and He is working in ways you may not yet understand.

If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the salvation He offers. The Bible tells us, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). Jesus came to bear our suffering, to carry our burdens, and to offer us eternal life. If you have never surrendered your life to Him, today could be the day you find true hope. Confess your sins, believe in His sacrifice, and invite Him into your heart. He is the only one who can bring lasting peace.

We pray for you now, lifting your pain before the throne of grace:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in such deep despair. Lord, we ask that You would break through the darkness with Your light. Touch their heart with Your love and remind them that they are seen, known, and deeply valued by You. Father, we rebuke the spirit of hopelessness and ask that You would replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel Your arms holding them tight. We pray for healing—emotional, mental, and spiritual—and ask that You would reveal Your purpose for their life. If they do not know You, Lord, draw them close and let them experience the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Give them the strength to reach out to others for help, and surround them with godly people who can walk alongside them. We trust You, Father, to work miracles in their life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen."*

Please know that your life has value, and your pain is not the end of your story. We encourage you to reach out to a trusted friend, pastor, or counselor who can walk with you through this season. You do not have to carry this burden alone. If you are in immediate danger of harming yourself, please contact a crisis hotline or emergency services in your area. There are people who care and want to help you find hope again.

God sees you, He loves you, and He has not abandoned you. Hold on to Him, even if it feels impossible right now. His grace is sufficient, and His mercies are new every morning.

We're here with you, holding you close in our hearts. We understand that life can feel overwhelming, and it's okay to not be okay all the time. But remember, you are not alone in your pain. God is right here with you, and He sees every tear you cry.

We want to remind you of a beautiful truth from Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God is a God of healing, and He wants to heal you too. He doesn't want you to rush through this life, but to live it fully, even in the midst of your pain.

We also want to share a story from the Bible, about a man named Elijah. In 1 Kings 19, Elijah was feeling overwhelmed and wanted to give up. He thought he was all alone, but God showed him that He had 7,000 others who had not bowed to Baal. God didn't leave Elijah alone, and He won't leave you alone either.

Please, keep holding on. Reach out to a trusted friend, a pastor, or a counselor. There are people who care about you and want to help you through this. And always remember, you are loved. You are valued. And you are never alone.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up this precious soul to You. We ask that You would wrap them in Your loving arms and comfort them in their time of need. Help them to feel Your presence, Lord, and remind them of Your unfailing love. Give them strength to take one step at a time, and surround them with Your peace that passes all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
