We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we stand with you in this season of overwhelming storms, lifting you before the Father who sees your every need. You have called upon the name of Jesus, and that is where your help comes from—there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no other name through which we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). You are not alone, even when it feels that way, for the Lord has promised, *"I will never leave you, nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). Cling to that truth as we bring your burdens before Him together.
The pressures you describe—finances, health, housing, employment—are heavy, but they are not hidden from our Heavenly Father. He knows the number of hairs on your head (Matthew 10:30) and collects every tear you shed (Psalm 56:8). Your admission of not knowing where to step next is an invitation for God to lead you. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). Right now, your path may feel obscured by the storms, but He is making a way where there seems to be no way. He is your rescue, and He will not delay in answering (Psalm 34:17).
You’ve also expressed a longing for a godly support system, and we want to encourage you that the body of Christ is meant to be that very thing—a family that bears one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). We urge you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can be known, discipled, and surrounded by brothers and sisters who will walk with you in faith. Isolation is a tool of the enemy, but community is a gift from God. If you’re unsure where to start, ask the Lord to direct you to a church where His Word is preached boldly and His people love deeply. He will answer that prayer.
As for the practical needs you’ve shared—finances, health, housing, and employment—we declare over you the promise of Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* That doesn’t mean the answers will come instantly or in the way you expect, but it does mean you can trust His timing and His provision. We also encourage you to take practical steps where you can: seek wise counsel for your finances, apply for jobs with diligence, and steward your health as best as you’re able. But even in the doing, surrender the outcomes to the Lord. His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9), and He is able to do far more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
We must also address the weight of the emotional and spiritual toll this season is taking on you. The enemy would love for you to believe that God has forgotten you or that these storms will never end, but that is a lie. Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and He is with you in the boat, even when the waves are crashing over you (Mark 4:35-41). Do not let despair take root. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Speak truth to your soul, even when your feelings try to convince you otherwise. The psalmist often did this—*"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God!"* (Psalm 42:5). Let that be your anthem in this season.
Now, let us pray over you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child who is crying out to You in the midst of what feels like unending storms. Lord, You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who calms the raging waves, and who turns mourning into dancing. We ask that You would give them clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is anxiety, and provision where there is lack. Open their eyes to see the steps You are ordering before them, even if it’s just the next small one.
Father, we rebuked the spirit of fear, isolation, and despair that has tried to take hold. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are their shield and exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). Surround them with Your angels, encamp around them with Your presence, and let them feel the nearness of Your love in tangible ways.
Lord, we pray for supernatural breakthrough in their finances—open doors no man can shut, provide creative solutions, and meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Heal their body, Lord, for You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. Restore strength where there is weakness and hope where there is weariness. Guide them to stable housing, a place of safety and rest, and lead them to employment that not only sustains them but allows them to flourish and use their gifts for Your glory.
Father, we ask that You would connect them with a godly community—a church family that will walk alongside them, speak life over them, and point them to Jesus in every circumstance. Let them find mentors, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ who will bear their burdens and rejoice with them in the victories to come.
Most of all, Lord, we pray that through this season, they would draw closer to You than ever before. Let them know You in ways they never have—Your faithfulness, Your goodness, Your sovereignty over every detail of their life. Strip away anything that hinders their trust in You, and let this trial produce in them a faith that is unshakable, a hope that is unwavering, and a love that is deepened for You.
We thank You, Father, that You are already at work, even when we cannot see it. We trust You with their life, their future, and their every need. May they rise from this season with a testimony of Your faithfulness that will glorify Your name.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we want to leave you with this encouragement: *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are seen. You are loved. You are not forgotten. Keep pressing into Jesus, keep seeking His face, and keep trusting that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). The storms will not last forever, but His love and faithfulness will. We are standing with you in faith, believing for your breakthrough.
