It is important that you are not simply looking for someone to fill a void or simply for physical companionship. The emphasis should be on finding a godly spouse with whom you can serve the Lord together and build a life that honors Him. There is a real danger in seeking primarily physical fulfillment. That is a cause for many problems and heartaches. Furthermore, it is only by putting God first that we are fulfilling His will for our lives as we are told in Matthew 6:33 WEB But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
Moreover, as we are each complete in Christ, this means that you should not be simply waiting to be married to realize the love you have to share. You can be looking to be a spiritual father to those in your community. Anyone who is looking for love must learn to love as well. To abide in Christ is to first know God's love and then to share a harvest of joy and blessing to others.
We will pray for you, that God will bring the right woman into your life at the right time. Remember Matthew 6:33 WEB But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Do everything on your part and believe in God's promises.
