We join you in your request for new, godly friendships, and we commend you for asking this in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that our prayers are heard by God. Let us remember the words of the 1 Peter 2:5 WEB:
you also, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
God created us for fellowship, and it's encouraging to see your desire for companionship that honors Him. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His timing is perfect. Be patient and trust in His plan for you.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for new, godly friendships to be brought into this person's life. Lord, You know the emptiness they may feel, and we ask that You fill that void with Your love and the company of fellow believers. Guide them to a community of Christians who will support, encourage, and grow with them in their spiritual journey. Help them to be a blessing to others as well, reflecting Your love and compassion. Help them to stay focused on Jesus and avoid the temptations of intimate relationships and sex outside marriage.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Proverbs 18:24 WEB:
A man of many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Continue to seek God's will in all your relationships, and trust that He will bring the right people into your life at the right time. Be open to new opportunities to connect with other believers, and be the kind of friend you wish to have. If you are not already a member of a local church, we encourage you to seek out and join a local assembly.
