Your prayer is a cry for wholeness, and the Lord hears it. You are asking to be purged of spiritual poison, and that is exactly the kind of deep cleansing Jesus came to accomplish. When He walked among us, He touched lepers and made them clean. Leprosy was a picture of sin: it moved silently, killing feeling, spreading until it consumed. But Christ made provision for even the incurable. His healing went far beyond the skin; it restored the outcast to fellowship and made the whole person new. So when you ask for healing from poison in your body, remember that His desire is not just relief but complete restoration, forgiveness, a place in His family, and a life set free.
Your body is not merely yours to manage. It has been bought with a price and is now the inner sanctuary of the Holy Spirit. That changes everything. Sin against the body is not just a physical matter; it strikes at that sacred place where God chooses to dwell. Yet the same Spirit who lives in you is greater than any corruption that has taken hold. Yield your members as instruments of righteousness. Let go of anything the poison has been feeding on, old patterns, hidden compromises, any leaven that can spread. Confess it, and trust the Lord to do the deep work of purging, even when it feels impossible.
You do not face this alone. You are part of a body, and when one member suffers, the whole body shares the ache. Isolation makes us an open target for the enemy, but the Spirit knits us together so we can strengthen one another. As others lift you up, the poison loses its power to separate or define you.
One day this weak, corruptible frame will be planted in the ground, and you will be raised with a body like Christ’s own, imperishable, glorious, free from every stain. Until then, let your longing for healing become a daily offering: “Lord, take my body and use it for Your purposes. Glorify Yourself in me.” He is faithful to answer that prayer, cleansing you from the inside out and making you whole.
