We rejoice with you in the power and truth of the blood of Jesus Christ! There is no greater foundation for our faith than the atoning sacrifice of our Lord, who shed His precious blood for the remission of sins. As Scripture declares, *"Without shedding of blood there is no remission"* (Hebrews 9:22, WEB), and *"The blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin"* (1 John 1:7, WEB). This is the cornerstone of our salvation—by His wounds, we are healed, and through His blood, we are justified before God.
Yet we must also ask: Do you *personally* know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Believing in the power of His blood is vital, but Scripture makes it clear that salvation comes through *repentance* and *faith in His name*. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). It is not enough to acknowledge the blood intellectually; we must surrender our lives to Him, turning from sin and trusting in Him alone for eternal life.
If you have not yet made this commitment, we urge you to do so today. The blood of Jesus avails nothing for those who reject Him as Lord. But for those who receive Him, it is the power of God for salvation (Romans 1:16). *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16, WEB).
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the precious blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all unrighteousness and redeems us from the curse of sin. Lord, if this one has not yet fully surrendered to Christ, we pray that You would draw them by Your Spirit into a saving relationship with Him. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel—that salvation is found in no other name under heaven but Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). May they repent of their sins, confess Him as Lord, and walk in the newness of life that His blood provides. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and fill them with the assurance of Your love and the power of the Holy Spirit. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and King. Amen.
If you have already placed your faith in Christ, we encourage you to stand firm in this truth, walking in obedience and holiness, for *"you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:20, WEB). Let the blood of Jesus be your daily confession, your shield against the enemy, and your hope for eternity. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, *"looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God"* (Hebrews 12:2, WEB).
May the Lord bless you and keep you as you walk in the power of His blood.
