Understand!
Jesus wanted us to remain childlike throughout our lives!
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: BUT NOW when I became a man, I put away childish things? NOW I see through a glass, DARKLY; but then face to face:
NOW that I finally came to myself I SEE MYSELF FACE TO FACE in part; NOW shall I know EVEN AS ALSO I AM known. NOW that I know I am also known as a child abides faith, hope, charity; but the greatest of these is charity.
Because when I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but now that I became a man, I put away childish things. I wish I never did! He realized he never should have done that! Now that we got older; we see through a glass, DARKLY; BUT now that we know! We must COME FACE TO FACE: WITH OURSELVES. NOW and know in part!
Meaning NOW I KNOW I AM PART MY CHILDHOOD still! I also know, I AM KNOWN. Our childhood self knows us still. NOW himself knows he is known! And NOW that he knows he has come to himself. Because he has; now abides in him faith, hope, and charity, BECAUSE NOW he knows the three; HIM, HIS SELF AND JESUS!
The greatest of these is charity. Why? NOW that he knows HIMSELF; he ACTS the part by helping himself play again; without expecting anything in return. Which is what charity means.
