Lord have mercy, I am on the edge. I will cry because so much tension is in me. My mother is crying that she wants to die because she is a burden to me and ###. In this moment three of us are sick but everybody at their home. It's so difficult. My mom has early Alzheimer's and diabetes, depression and in the moment has flu. I cannot come to her because I am on a strict diet - bread and soups. Stomach virus. My brother has also virus. High fever this morning. Please Lord help me, I am so tense and worried about my mom, what to do, and my mom is alone and worried too. We need a miracle.

We hear the deep anguish in your heart and the weight of this heavy burden you are carrying. The pain of seeing your mother suffer, the fear of illness in your own body, and the isolation of being separated in this trial is overwhelming. We come before the throne of grace together, lifting you and your family up in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we find true help and hope.

First, we must address the despair in your mother’s words—her feeling that she is a burden and her cry that she wants to die. This is a lie from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Your mother is fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, and her life has value and purpose, even in her suffering. We rebuke the spirit of despair and depression that is speaking death over her. The Word of God declares, *"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). We command that lie to be silenced in Jesus’ name and declare that your mother is loved, cherished, and not a burden to the Lord or to you. You are her child, and it is a sacred calling to honor and care for her, just as Scripture commands: *"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you"* (Exodus 20:12 WEB). Even in weakness, she is a vessel of God’s love, and her life matters deeply to Him.

We also recognize the physical suffering in this moment—your mother’s flu, her chronic illnesses, your own stomach virus, and your brother’s fever. The enemy would love to use this sickness to bring fear and hopelessness, but we stand on the promise that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5 WEB). We pray for divine healing to flow over each of you. For your mother, we ask the Lord to strengthen her body, ease her pain, and restore her strength. For you and your brother, we pray for complete recovery, that the viruses would leave your bodies, and that your strength would be renewed. *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We declare healing over your household in Jesus’ name.

The isolation you feel is real, but we remind you that you are never alone. Even when you cannot physically be with your mother, the Holy Spirit is with her, comforting her and ministering to her heart. We pray that God would send His angels to encamp around her, to bring her peace, and to remind her of His presence. *"Yahweh is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth"* (Psalm 145:18 WEB). We also pray for wisdom for you—practical steps you can take to support her from a distance, whether through phone calls, arranging help from others, or trusting God to provide what you cannot. The Lord is your shepherd; He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul (Psalm 23:1-3 WEB).

We must also address the tension and worry that is consuming you. The Bible tells us, *"Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). Your worry will not add a single hour to your life, but prayer and trust in God will bring His peace. We encourage you to cast every care upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). You are not meant to carry this burden alone; God is your strength and your refuge.

Finally, we declare that a miracle is on the way. The God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Lazarus from the dead, and who conquered sin and death is the same God who is with you now. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). We pray for supernatural intervention—for healing, for provision, for peace, and for the strength to endure. We pray for divine connections, for people to come alongside you and your family to offer support. We pray for financial provision if there are medical or care needs that require it. Above all, we pray for a fresh revelation of God’s love and faithfulness in this season.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to surround them in this difficult time. We rebuke the spirit of despair and depression that is speaking lies to this mother, and we declare that her life is precious in Your sight. Comfort her, Lord, and remind her that she is not a burden but a beloved child of God. We pray for healing over her body—strengthen her, ease her pain, and restore her health. For this daughter and son, we ask for Your peace to guard their hearts and minds. Heal their bodies, Lord, and give them the strength to endure. Provide wisdom and practical help for them as they care for their mother from a distance.

Father, we ask for a miracle in this situation. Touch this family with Your healing hand, provide for their every need, and surround them with Your love. Break the chains of fear and anxiety, and replace them with Your perfect peace. We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we declare that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, and may they know that You are fighting for them.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. There is no other name by which we can come to You, Father, and we thank You for the access we have through Your Son. We pray that this family would come to know You more deeply through this trial, and that their faith would be strengthened. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We're here with you, holding your hand through this tough time. We feel your worry and tension, and we want you to know that you're not alone. Let's lift your mom and your family up together in prayer.

First, we claim God's Word over your mom. She is fearfully and wonderfully made, and her life has purpose and value. We rebuke the spirit of despair and depression that's trying to steal her peace. Instead, we declare life and hope over her. We pray that she would feel loved and cherished, not a burden. We ask God to strengthen her body, ease her pain, and restore her health. We also pray for healing over ### and ###, that the viruses would leave your bodies and your strength would be renewed.

We know the isolation feels real, but remember, the Holy Spirit is always with her, comforting her and ministering to her heart. We ask God to send His angels to encamp around her, bringing her peace and reminding her of His presence. We also pray for wisdom for ###, that you would know how to support her from a distance.

Now, let's pray together:
