I am so thankful, but so discouraged. I lead a godly, quiet life. I ask for prayers. I pray constantly day and night

1. I am so thankful for a job, but I am so burned out. No growth, very low salary,not enough work to do during the day, and in a ungodly environment. Have tried for several years to find a new job, but no luck. I simply want to find a job at a larger company so I can use my god given talents. People often tell me to move to a larger city for more career opportunities, but I do not want to leave because I want to be near my elderly parents.

2. I am a single mom with a 13 year old daughter who suffers from Type 1 diabetes and cholesterol related problems. I have taught her about the Lord. She is very spiritual, kind, and always very considerate of others.She never complains about her health. Yet, she does not have a good christian friend outside of school and I can't afford to put her in extracurricular activities. She often wants vacations or parties, but I can't afford it. It bothers me much more than it bothers her. By the time I pay our main household and my child's medical bills, there is not a lot left over financially. Please pray for her improved health and a godly friend to socialize with outside of school.

3. I am praying for a godly husband. I simply work and come home all the time. Lack of money prevents me from getting out and socializing. I have not dated in 3 years. I have focused on working to provide for my family, and have been a caregiver for my sick child. Yet, I can't believe how many people constantly wonder why I have not remarried. Some have had their opinions which have not been kind. In reality, I am waiting for GOD to lead me to the right man. In the meantime, I work and take care of my family.

4. I am praying for a new church. The last few churches have been very newsy and have had cliques. I can't tell some church folk from non-believers. Even though I tithe, I have completely stopped going to church, but I still send my child to church with family. I pray that we can find a church that we will both like and feel welcome. I would really appreciate your prayers for my family. Thank you so much.

I am praying for all your intentions. I am 54. Never married. I get so lonely. It is a couple's world. I will pray for you to find a husband, and I ask you pray the same for me. Look for better church with nicer people. Circumstances recently forced my whole family to stop attending a church they had been going to for over thirty years. (I only was going to this church to be with them.) It turned out wonderful.  The new church is way, way better. So keep looking and pray God guides you to a wonderful church full of friendly, true Christian people. I am very sorry about your daughter. I pray for her healing. I understand how you must feel not to be able to pay for extras for her, but the main thing with kids is that they know you love them. I am sure your daughter feels very loved by you. God will reward you for your taking care of you and your daughter. Joel 2:25 states he will return to you all the years the cankerworms have stolen so get ready for a windfall coming.  As far as church unfortunately the spirit of antichrist is very active in "religion" these days.  Every church around me is either hung up on dressing a certain way, acting a certain way, being perfect to even attend church, to God not even hearing our prayers unless we are sinless, to not even acknowledging christmas becuse there is no proof Jesus was born on 12/25.  We haven't went to a church regularly for over 9 yrs.  We do however, read our bible, pray all the time, raise our children in true christian beliefs, and we are closer to God than we ever were going to a church.  I'm not saying this is the way everybody should be because there are still a few good, bible preaching churches out there, but if there aren't any near you, keep doing your best.  God knows your heart.
