The pain of a broken heart is real, and the Lord is near to those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and He will not leave you in this place of sorrow. Lean into Him, for His yoke is easy, and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30). Fear is a natural response in times of uncertainty, but we are commanded not to be anxious about anything. Instead, we are to present our requests to God with thanksgiving, and His peace—which surpasses all understanding—will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). Cling to this promise, for He is faithful.
We pray fervently for the provision of a job and the success of a business venture, knowing that God delights in the prosperity of His servants (Psalm 35:27). He is Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14), and He will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We ask that He would grant you favor in the sight of those who have authority over hiring and opportunities, that He would give you wisdom and creativity as you pursue entrepreneurship, and that He would align your steps with His perfect will. Remember, it is better to be single and wholeheartedly devoted to Christ than to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14). Flee from any temptation to compromise morally, for fornication and emotional entanglements outside of marriage are sin and will only bring heartache (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Walk in obedience, stay rooted in His Word, and watch as He moves mightily on your behalf. The battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47), and He has already won the victory.
