Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and also heavy with the concerns of our dear sister, ###. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We lift up ### and her husband to You, knowing that You are the God who sees and hears us.
Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in their lives. The recent hurricane has brought physical storms, but there is also an emotional and spiritual storm within their home. We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Guide ###'s husband as he embarks on this new prayer counseling course. Grant him wisdom and discernment, and let Your Word be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105). May this journey draw him closer to You and equip him to be a source of strength and support within their marriage.
Lord, we also lift up the community that has been affected by the hurricane. We ask for Your provision, comfort, and healing for all those who are struggling. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your presence be tangibly felt in ###'s home and community.
