I am a victim of domestic violence. Physically and emotionally. It is tearing up my heart that i cannot protect my 3 year old son from heavy beating of his father. Lord Jesus I pray that we can survive from these and we will be able to get away from him. I dont even know if i have to pray for him to change or for us to have the chance to leave. Guide me and enlighten me Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Honey, I have been in your shoes. I finally went to counseling on my own and they helped build up my self esteem and I started standing up for myself and my kids. He didn't like it but I continue standing up for everyone in the house. We finally separated and divorced. And of course my ex was / is a nasty man who did everything to turn the kids around me and wanting nothing but watch me fail. I put myself through college while working and being a single parent. Please get help- seek a counselor who will help you work through these issues and help you bring you self esteem and self worth up. Don't let this man continue to ruin your life and continue to hurt you. I will continue to pray for you and your son.
