Hypocrisy

Let's face it. The school shooter in Florida did a terrible thing, and murder is sin, granted .But some of the people throwing rocks at him have a similar sin in their lives, yet when they do it, they "justify" it.Let's talk about abortion. Because people sometimes misunderstand my meaning, let's narrow it down to,not a medical emergency, but a girl or unmarried woman who "wants her cake and eat it", wants to have sex as much as she wants, but if she gets pregnant, falls back on abortion so she won't be "inconvenienced" with a baby.{Also, there are late term abortions,}Yet here's the thing, and my point__some of these same women who fight for "abortion on demand", are the first to condemn the shooter for killing people.It.Then they try to "rationalize" this contradiction. But didn't Jesus say,"You hypocrites! Before removing noticing the speck in someone elses eye, remove the beam from your own eye."I don't think women who approve of abortion are on good moral grounds to condemn this shooter. To say, "that sin is bad on someone else, but on me, it's ok."At the Great White Throne Judgement,it states,"Whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was thrown into the Lake of Fire."WHOSOEVER.It does NOT say,The school shooter was hurled into the Lake of Fire, but the pro abortion woman got away with it because she "rationalized it away.".If the shooter or the pro abortion woman make Heaven, it will be because they accepted Gods salvation plan, not because one is on higher moral ground than another.Sin is sin.

It surprising but some economists thinks, from an analysys of out-of-wedlock childbearing in US, that the abortion legalization and the pill generated, also with the secularization of the sexual relations, had an increment the quantity of poor single woman with childs. Furthermore, some suggest that the ideal men without children which became the ideal type in the country is the cause of the increase of crimes and addict behaviours. It is surprising cause the Bible has the answers for the human's problems.

I notice the same thing with debt, Stephen, and within churches and ministry organizations. If you Interview to be on staff, they want a list of your debts and obligations. They will exclude you for certain debts (like a debt you are paying off th the government for example, or possibly school loans). Yet the same people have huge mortgages on their houses, big debts on their cars and in many cases on the buildings they have. Why not prepay your car insurance, by the way? Is their holy debt and unholy debt? Or is hypocrisy so blinding people strain out a gnat and swallow a camel?

When we come out of religion we Will have the power of the Holy Spirit and totaly different attitude and revelations about any sin. No condemnation but understanding and love for those People reminding ourselves that we could be the shooters or women who aborted if we only had the life and problems they had (including not being saved!).

Hipocrisy in churches happen because their is not enough Holy Spirit power to unveil sin and show the truth. In religion sin is mostly successfully hidden. Jesus is the truth. Where there is God, it is difficult to hide the sin long time. And to act self righteous over People who have the same sin as you. This is my opinion, Intercessor.

I think the point being made with reference to both sin in the world and church were sufficiently made clear above and there was not a need for another comment, but setting that aside...

It’s been shown that there is not only hypocrisy in the world, which Stephen showed, but in the church. The presence of God alone does not automatically cleanse the church of hypocrisy, but teaching, preaching and correction throughout history has been needed. My Bible proof text is when Peter was in hypocrisy by not eating with Gentile believers and Paul had to call him out (See Galatians 2 below)...

11But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. 12For prior to the coming of certain men from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to withdraw and hold himself aloof, fearing the party of the circumcision. 13The rest of the Jews joined him in hypocrisy, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy. 14But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in the presence of all, “If you, being a Jew, live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how is it that you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?

15“We are Jews by nature and not sinners from among the Gentiles;16nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.”

We see that “Holy Spirit Power” needed the instrumentality of a human being (Paul) to bring Biblical correction (and this should have been handled differently as taught by Jesus — confrontation alone gently as with a speck in an eye, then with another if advice is not heeded, then before the church — but now Paul was a human also and shows his lack of knowledge of the Scriptures and teachings of Jesus [which had probably not been written down yet on Biblical correction] as well as Paul’s Own impatience and pride in making this a public thing right away).

Again my point is there is hypocrisy in the church and hypocrisy is a worse sin than debt for instance since one will keep a person out of heaven (hypocrisy) and the other will not. Where one may not go to hell for a car loan, if that person judges someone paying off back debt to the Government (while having a mortgage themself or a car loan or even paying their car insurance on a payment schedule rather than prepaying it — that person is on some seriously thin ice — to exclude a person from serving in missions for example, because they have a debt payment set up to pay back the IRS or any other type of loan repayment, for example — just saying tradition can keep people from serving God whereas David let all who were in debt and discouraged and so on gather to him and serve with him, so too did Jesus.
