We lift your husband before the Lord in this moment of uncertainty, trusting in God’s sovereignty over his health and well-being. It is good that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your request, for Scripture reminds us that *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Just as we rely on Christ for salvation, we also bring our petitions before Him in faith, knowing He hears and cares for us.
We are encouraged by your trust in the Lord during this trial, and we pray that your husband’s PSA results would reflect healing and stability. Yet, even as we ask for physical restoration, we also surrender to God’s perfect will, remembering that *"we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB). Whether the news is what you hope for or not, we pray that both of you would experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
If the results bring concern, we urge you to lean on the Lord’s strength and not on your own understanding. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Medical challenges can be overwhelming, but they also provide an opportunity to draw nearer to God and to witness His faithfulness in new ways. Let this season deepen your reliance on Him and your marriage’s unity in prayer.
We also encourage you to continue covering your husband in prayer, not just for his physical health but for his spiritual walk as well. May this trial be a reminder to both of you to *"seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB), trusting that He holds the future. If fear or anxiety begins to creep in, remember the words of Jesus: *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful"* (John 14:27, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You that You are the Great Physician and the God who sees and knows all things. Lord, we lift this husband before Your throne of grace, asking for mercy and healing in his body. We pray that his PSA levels would be normal, reflecting Your restoring power at work within him. Give wisdom and discernment to the doctors treating him, and guide their hands and decisions according to Your will.
If there are areas in his body that need healing, we ask that You would touch him with Your divine hand and bring complete restoration. Yet, even as we pray for healing, we surrender to Your perfect plan, trusting that You work all things for the good of those who love You. Strengthen both him and his wife in this time of waiting, filling them with Your peace and assurance that You are near.
Lord, we also pray that this trial would draw them closer to You and to one another. May their marriage be a testimony of faith, hope, and love, rooted in Your Word. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and finisher of their faith, and to trust in Your unfailing love.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
