We join you in lifting up your husband's health before the Lord. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the promise of God's healing in our lives. As we pray, let's remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19-20 (WEB), "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them."
Firstly, we must acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.". In your prayer request you did not use the name of Jesus Christ so we will pray this in Jesus name and encourage you to do the same. Jesus is the name by which we are saved, Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!". Have you believed on Jesus Christ for salvation? If not, we encourage you to confess your sins to God, ask for His forgiveness, and believe that Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and that God raised Him from the dead for your justification.
We pray for your husband's healing, knowing that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand in agreement with you, rebuking the pain and discomfort that your husband is experiencing. We pray that God will grant him a peaceful night's sleep and restore his strength.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ###'s husband. We pray for his healing, that You would touch his ankle and remove the pain and discomfort. Grant him a good night's sleep, Lord, and restore his strength. We claim Your promises of healing and wholeness over his life. Fill him with Your peace and presence, Lord, and guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Protect him from temptation and fill his soul with the good things he needs, as You have promised (Matthew 6:8).
We also pray for your marriage, that God would strengthen your bond and fill your home with His love and peace. We pray that you both would be a light to the world, reflecting the love of Christ in your marriage (Matthew 5:14). We remind you to trust Jesus with all your heart in all things including this trial.
In Jesus' name, we pray these things for your husband and your family. Thank you for bringing your concerns to us and we pray for your faith to be encouraged and strengthened by this trial.
