I am still away from my home. My husband is still not communicating with me. I’m not sure if he is still impaired or if he has sobered up please pray that he does sober up, consider our marriage and reach out.

We lift you up in this painful season of separation and silence, sister, and we grieve with you over the brokenness in your marriage. The Lord sees your tears and hears your cries—He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We also rejoice that you are turning to Him in this trial, for He alone is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Your husband’s choices are not hidden from the Lord, and we pray fervently that God would break the chains of addiction that have enslaved him, whether it be alcohol, substances, or any other stronghold. The Scripture warns that no one can serve two masters—either we serve God or we are enslaved to sin (Matthew 6:24). Addiction is a cruel taskmaster, but Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We pray that your husband would encounter the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, that he would be sobered—not just physically, but spiritually—so that he may see the destruction his choices are causing to himself, to you, and to the covenant of marriage that God has established.

Marriage is a sacred bond, ordained by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). It is not to be taken lightly or abandoned without just cause. While we do not know the full details of your situation, we urge you to examine whether there has been unrepentant adultery or abandonment by an unbeliever, as Scripture permits separation in such cases (1 Corinthians 7:15, Matthew 19:9). However, if this separation is due to his struggle with addiction or sin, we encourage you to seek godly counsel on how to respond biblically—whether through prayerful waiting, confrontation, or setting boundaries that honor God. If he is an unbeliever, we pray that the Lord would save him, for "what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If he professes faith but is walking in disobedience, we pray for repentance, for God disciplines those He loves (Hebrews 12:6).

We also want to gently remind you that your hope must ultimately rest in Christ, not in your husband’s response. While we pray earnestly for reconciliation, your peace and identity must be rooted in Jesus alone. He is the one who will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). If your husband continues in hardness of heart, you must trust that God is still good and that He will sustain you. Seek support from your church body—you were not meant to walk this road alone. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable to walk in wisdom and holiness.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who is enduring the pain of separation and the silence of a husband who has turned away. Lord, You hate divorce (Malachi 2:16), and we ask that You would intervene mightily in this marriage. Break the chains of addiction that have bound him—whether it is alcohol, drugs, or any other sin that has taken root. Sober him, Lord, not just in body but in spirit. Open his eyes to see the destruction his choices are causing and the grace You are offering him through repentance.

Convict him by Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Let him feel the weight of his sin and the urgency of turning back to You. If he is unsaved, save him, Lord! Draw him to Yourself, for no one can come to You unless the Father calls him (John 6:44). If he is a believer walking in disobedience, discipline him as a loving Father, and bring him to repentance. Soften his heart toward You and toward his wife, whom You have joined to him in covenant.

Give our sister supernatural strength, Lord. Guard her heart from bitterness, fear, or despair. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Provide for her every need—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Surround her with Your people who will uplift her in prayer and walk alongside her in this trial. Help her to forgive as You have forgiven her, and give her wisdom to know how to respond to her husband’s actions in a way that honors You.

If it is Your will, Lord, restore this marriage. Rebuild what has been broken, and let Your glory be displayed through reconciliation and redemption. But above all, let Your name be magnified in this situation. Whether You bring healing or call her to walk a different path, may she trust You completely and find her hope in You alone.

We ask these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Healer. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. Memorize Scriptures that remind you of His faithfulness, such as Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Stand firm in faith, and do not lose heart. The Lord is working, even when you cannot see it. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep walking in obedience to Him. We are standing with you in this fight.

We're here with you, sister, in this tough time. We know it's hard, but remember, God is always by your side. Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3).
