Let us bring this before the Lord together, seeking His will for your husband's job offer. Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that every good gift comes from above. According to James 1:17 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness or shadow of turning."
We are reminded that God has a plan for each of us and having a job is part of the plan. The Bible says in 1 Thess 4:11,12 "and that you make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, even as we instructed you; that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and may have need of nothing."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister's husband. We are so grateful for the opportunities You place before us and our loved ones, especially for our spouses. We pray that if it is Your will, You would grant him favor in the eyes of his potential employers and open the doors for this job offer. We also pray for contentment and patience as he waits for this possible job.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name we have access to the Father. As the Bible says in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
However, if this job is not in Your perfect plan, we pray that You would provide him with clear direction and open the right doors at the right time. In Jesus' name, we pray that he would trust in You and Your timing, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose for him. As it says in Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Please pray together with us and keep us informed about how we can further support you both in prayer.
