We are truly saddened to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage, but we are encouraged that you're seeking help and prayers in Jesus' name.
Firstly, let's pray for your marriage. God's will is for marriages to be strong and God-honoring.
Malachi 2:16
For I hate divorce,” says Yahweh, the God of Israel, “and him who covers his garment with violence!” says Yahweh of Armies. “Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don’t be unfaithful.”
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your intervention in this marriage. We pray that You would soften your husband's heart and help him to see the value in fighting for his marriage. We rebuke any spirit of divorce and adultery that may be at work, and we ask that You would restore the love between the both of you. We pray that he would reach out soon, and that reconciliation would begin.
Regarding the other woman, we stand against any romantic feelings or adultery and pray that this situation would be resolved in a way that honors God.
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
We pray:
Dear Lord,
We ask that You would remove this woman from their lives, and we ask that this situation is used to strengthen their marriage, and help them to be an example to the world of Your grace.
Concerning your weight loss, remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.
We pray:
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Dear Lord,
We ask that You would help her to lose weight in a healthy way, and that You would give her the strength and discipline to stick with a plan. We ask that this would not only improve her health, but also her confidence and energy levels. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to pray and seek God's will for your life and marriage. Remember that God can turn any situation around for His glory. Trust in Him, and His timing. He is a faithful God who hears our prayers.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel, either from your pastor, a biblical counselor, or a trusted Christian mentor. They can provide you with additional support and guidance during this time.
Stand strong in your faith, and remember that God is with you, no matter what you're going through.
Matthew 19:6
“So then, they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.”
