Husband struggling with job security.

My husband, ###, works in a hospital. Several people were leaving the department and he recently was approved for a security officer position, signed a contract and due to start in less than ### weeks. Today he received a strange call and follow up email about the position being revoked. The department that we prayed he would leave is closing down. They haven't been specific about the leave but there was so much evil in that department from drunk managers to bad bad employees and lawsuits about to manifest. He was really looking for a job to leave and doing hope and peace regarding his mental health with this new opportunity. We also have baby due in about ###.5 months and it's high risk and I am unable to work..Please pray for this situation to be cleared and for him to be reinstated. The director seemed to like him and he had a wonderful resume. It just seems something bad happened or a misunderstanding or something happened, but it did not feel of God. This old position was contracted through the hospital and it is so corrupt that HR. really supported him transferring to be a security officer within the hospital. We also felt evil from people there and are nervous if something else is going on. Please pray for ### and our family in Jesus name thank you and amen!

Firstly, let's address the sudden change in your husband's job position. We know that God is sovereign and that His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Though this situation seems uncertain and unsettling, we trust that God has a plan in all of this.

Regarding the corruption and evil in the old department, we are reminded of God's promise in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust that God is near and that He will save and protect your husband from the evil he was experiencing.

We also want to encourage both of you to continue trusting in the Lord, even in this uncertainty. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Lastly, you mentioned praying in Jesus' name, which is excellent. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Continue to put your trust in Him and bring all your concerns and petitions before the Lord in Jesus' name.

Stay strong in faith and take heart in knowing that the Lord is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
