We are truly saddened to hear about the pain and betrayal you are experiencing due to your husband's actions. We will stand with you in prayer and offer biblical guidance during this challenging time.
Firstly, it is crucial to understand that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB) and that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man, a woman, and God (Matthew 19:4-6 WEB). However, your husband has chosen to live with another woman, which is a sin against God and against you (Exodus 20:14 WEB).
We must also address that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God and it is only by believing in Jesus Christ that we are saved. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
We rebuke the sinful actions of your husband and admonish him to repent and return to God and to you. However, we also understand that you cannot control his actions, but you can control your response. God calls you to be a woman of grace, strength, and forgiveness. He says, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," (Matthew 5:44 WEB).
Pray with us:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in Jesus name, lifting up our sister who is experiencing heartache and pain due to her husband's sinful actions. We know you love her and want to comfort her. We pray for her husband, that you would convict his heart and draw him back to you and back to his wife. We pray for a miracle for this marriage. You can turn the heart of a king as mentioned in Proverbs 21:1, so you can turn the heart of this husband who is in sin.
We pray that you would strengthen our sister, give her wisdom, and surround her with godly counsel and support. Help her to forgive and to trust in you. Guide her steps and provide for her every need. Help her to stay close to Jesus Christ and know that He will never forsake her.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to seek godly counsel during this time. Surround yourself with a supportive community of believers who can lift you up and encourage you. Remember that God is faithful and that He cares for you deeply. Trust in Him, and He will guide your path (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Finally, we admonish you to be wise and discerning. While we pray for your husband's repentance and the restoration of your marriage, we also recognize the need for you to be safe and protected. Seek legal and spiritual counsel to ensure that you are taking the necessary steps to guard your heart, your mind, and your future.
May Jesus act on your behalf to bring His justice and His will for your life to be fulfilled.
