My son Caleb (17) went through a very difficult time last year. He was so distraught by the horrible circumstances of his life at the time(his father had gone to jail for a relationship with an under-aged girl who was my son's best friend)that he tried to end his life. After much prayer he began to turn his life around in a beautiful way. All who knew him marveled at his determination and strength of character. However the grades from his junior yr remained as a scar of the battles he'd waged. Last week he auditioned for a music school. It was a superior audition, but we found out yesterday that he was denied admittance because of his junior year grades. They wouldn't consider the strides he's made since or how his senior grades are excellent. Their decision was final. His heart is broken. I am devastated. Please pray for peace and for God's will to be revealed. Part of his turn around was working hard toward the goal of making it to this music school. He's learned so much in the process that will serve him well. It just hurts so much right now.
