We join with you in lifting up your pain and need for healing to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and knows every detail of your hurt. It is wonderful that you have brought this request before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need. *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need."* (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).
Your arm is precious to the Lord, who formed you in your mother’s womb and knows every fiber of your being. We pray that He would bring swift healing, restore strength, and remove all pain and inflammation. May His healing power flow through you, renewing not just your arm but also your spirit, that you would feel His comforting presence in this time. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Though this verse speaks of emotional wounds, we know our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever—He heals all manner of brokenness, including the physical.
We also encourage you to trust in His timing, for His ways are higher than ours, and His plans for you are good. If there is any lesson He is teaching you through this season of discomfort, may your heart be open to receive it. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Even in pain, we can glorify Him by resting in His sovereignty and sharing His faithfulness with others.
Father, we thank You for Your child who has come before You with a humble and trusting heart. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon their arm, knitting together every ligament, tendon, and bone. Remove all soreness and restore full mobility and strength. Let this healing be a testimony of Your goodness and power, not just to them but to all who witness it. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus and declare that by His stripes, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24). Fill them with patience and peace as they wait on You, and let them feel Your loving presence surrounding them like a shield.
We also pray that You would guard their mind from discouragement or doubt. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May they rest in the assurance that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
