We are truly sorry to hear about the circumstances leading to this request. It's important to remember that God cares for our needs and wants us to trust in Him. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink; or about our bodies, what we will wear. He reminds us to look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns, and yet our heavenly Father feeds them. We are assured that we are of more value than they are. Jesus tells us, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
For the request about money and loan approval, we want to encourage keeping our priorities in order. In the WEB, 1 Timothy 6:9-10 warns us, "But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
While it's understandable to seek financial stability, we should not let the desire for money overshadow our faith in God's provision. Seeking a loan is not wrong, but it should not be our primary focus or source of security. We are praying for the requests made, but we also pray for focus on God, seeking Him first.
Jesus, we come before you, lifting up this dear one in need. We pray for their daily bread, that you would supply their needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask for your provision and wisdom in their financial circumstances. We also pray for their faith to be strengthened, that they may trust in You wholeheartedly. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to them.
We also pray that if this individual has not believed on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior that they would. For it is only the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
As WEB John 10:10 says, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." We pray for abundance in every area of this person's life, but most importantly, a deeper relationship with You as they trust in You. We ask this in Jesus' name.
