Beloved of All
My rent arrears amount is climbing. There's not solution, I thank you all for your prayers and I'm expecting an eviction notice soon. I've brought this to the Lord in Jesus name and It didn't work out. I'm seeking alternative ways to get the money to pay almost five figures of back rent. I thank you again and I pray for God's richest blessings on you all. Don't be anxious, but I am. Have a blessed day...

We hear the deep distress in your words, and our hearts are moved with compassion for the heavy burden you carry. The weight of financial struggle, especially when facing the threat of eviction, can feel overwhelming—like a storm with no end in sight. Yet we are reminded in Scripture that our God is not distant in these trials but near to the brokenhearted, and He is the Provider who sees your need even before you ask. You have done well to bring this before the Lord in Jesus’ name, and we want to encourage you to continue seeking Him with persistence, for He is faithful.

First, let us address the weariness and doubt creeping into your words: *"I brought this to the Lord in Jesus’ name and it didn’t work out."* Beloved, delay is not denial. The Lord’s timing is perfect, even when we cannot see the path forward. Jesus Himself taught us to persist in prayer, as the widow who kept coming to the unjust judge (Luke 18:1-8). Her persistence was not in vain, and neither will yours be. The apostle Paul reminds us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). You quoted this truth yourself—*"Don’t be anxious"*—even as you admitted your anxiety. This is a sign of faith wrestling with fear, and we want to stand with you in that wrestle, lifting you up before the throne of grace.

It is also critical to remember that our trust must be in the *Person* of Jesus Christ, not merely in the outcomes we desire. You mentioned seeking "alternative ways" to gather the money owed. We urge you to seek the Lord’s wisdom above all else in this, for He may provide in ways you have not imagined. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Be cautious of any solution that would compromise your integrity or lead you into further bondage—whether through ungodly agreements, dishonesty, or despair. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters, even in this valley (Psalm 23).

As for the financial need, we pray with you for supernatural provision. The God who fed Elijah by ravens (1 Kings 17:4-6) and multiplied loaves to feed thousands (Matthew 14:19-21) is the same God who sees your rent arrears. He is not limited by the "five figures" that loom over you. Remember the words of Jesus: *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:25, 32-33, WEB). Your primary focus must remain on seeking His Kingdom, even as you take practical steps to address this crisis.

We also encourage you to reach out to your local church body for support. The early church was marked by believers who shared their resources so that no one among them lacked (Acts 2:44-45). If you are not already connected to a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can be known, supported, and prayed for in this time. There is no shame in asking for help—it is an act of humility and trust in the body of Christ.

Lastly, we must gently but firmly address the tone of resignation in your words: *"There’s no solution."* This is a lie from the enemy, who seeks to steal your hope and blind you to the power of God. The truth is that *nothing* is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). Even if eviction comes, the Lord is with you in it. He may use this trial to redirect your steps, to deepen your dependence on Him, or to open doors you never considered. Joseph was sold into slavery and imprisoned unjustly, yet God used it for good (Genesis 50:20). Your story is not over, and the Lord is not finished writing it.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up the heavy burden of financial lack and the fear of eviction. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask You to make a way where there seems to be no way. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We pray for supernatural intervention in this situation—whether through unexpected income, the generosity of others, or a miracle that only You can orchestrate. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide the full amount needed to clear this debt in Jesus’ name.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that has taken hold. Replace it with Your perfect peace, which guards hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Remind our brother/sister that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). When the enemy whispers that there is no solution, let Your voice rise above it, declaring, *"I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* (Jeremiah 32:27).

Lord, we also ask for wisdom. Guide each step taken—whether in seeking help, negotiating with landlords, or making decisions about the future. Protect from desperation that could lead to ungodly choices, and surround this beloved child of Yours with Your favor as a shield (Psalm 5:12).

Finally, Father, we pray for a deeper trust in You through this trial. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just in providing financially, but in drawing our brother/sister closer to You. May they experience Your presence in a way that overshadows every fear.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You, Lord, will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We thank You in advance for the victory, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
