We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in this time of frustration and weariness. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 23:1, *"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing."* Yet, we know that even when we declare this truth, the trials of life can make it feel distant. But let us hold fast to the promise that our Shepherd *does* provide, *does* fight for us, and *does* bring justice in His perfect timing.
First, we must address the matter of trust. You have placed your needs—financial, physical, and emotional—in the hands of those who have failed you repeatedly. While it is right to expect fairness and competence, we must also examine our own hearts. Have we sought the Lord’s guidance in choosing those who serve us, or have we relied solely on human systems? Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us pray that the Lord would reveal whether this dental practice is where He would have you remain, or if He is leading you to seek care elsewhere.
We rebuke the spirit of injustice and unrighteousness that has taken root in this situation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the schemes of the wicked will not prevail against you. The Lord sees your frustration, your financial burden, and your weariness, and He will not abandon you. Psalm 37:28 says, *"For the Lord loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off."* We stand on this promise and declare that the Lord will bring justice in this matter.
Now, let us address the financial aspect. You mention being billed more after poor service—this is not only unjust but exploitative. We encourage you to seek wise counsel, perhaps from a fellow believer knowledgeable in financial matters, to review these charges. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* Do not allow yourself to be enslaved to unjust debts. Pray for discernment in how to respond—whether through direct communication, mediation, or even legal recourse if necessary. The Lord is your provider, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
We also lift up your upcoming dental appointment. We pray that the Lord would go before you, softening the hearts of those who will treat you. If this is not the place where you are meant to receive care, we ask that the Lord would shut the door and open another that is aligned with His will. Exodus 14:14 reminds us, *"The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."* Rest in this truth. You do not have to fight this battle alone.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Shepherd, our Defender, and our Provider. We lift up this situation to You, Lord, and we ask for Your divine intervention. You see the injustice, the frustration, and the weariness that has taken hold. We declare that You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would move on behalf of Your child. Expose any unrighteousness, Lord, and bring it to light. Give wisdom and discernment in how to proceed with these dental matters—whether to confront, to walk away, or to seek resolution through other means.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of exploitation and greed that seeks to take advantage of Your people. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Provide them with favor, Lord, in their interactions with this practice. If it is Your will for them to find new care, open the door to a provider who will honor You in their work and treat Your children with fairness and respect.
We also ask for Your provision, Lord. The financial burden of these repeated issues weighs heavily. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. We ask that You would stretch their resources, Lord, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Give them peace in the midst of this storm, knowing that You are in control.
Father, we pray for strength and endurance. The enemy would love to see them grow weary and give up, but we declare that they will not faint. Isaiah 40:31 says, *"But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Renew their strength, Lord. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You through this trial. Let them see Your hand at work, even in the small details. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want. You lead them beside still waters, You restore their soul, and You guide them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:2-3). We trust You, Lord, to bring justice, provision, and peace in this situation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face in this matter. Spend time in His Word, meditating on His promises. Psalm 34:17-18 says, *"The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not alone in this. The Lord hears your cries, and He will answer.
If you have not already, consider reaching out to your church community for support. There may be someone who can offer practical help, whether through prayer, financial advice, or even a recommendation for a new dental provider. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."* Do not carry this burden alone.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of bringing every request to God in the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is a free gift, offered to all who believe. If you would like to pray to receive Christ, we would be honored to guide you in that prayer. Simply ask, and we will help you take that step.
