How is this possible! Is it a sing from God ?

I was with one person, we were really connected, it was genuine connection.

For so many days I was seeing a dream where I was told to express my feelings to that person & it's so easy but whenever I used to wake up, I was like oh! I can’t do that! I was having this dream again and again.

Then one time I saw a dream where I saw him looking at me and continuously smiling while he was dressed as a groom, I was so confused and then I realized I was his bride.

Then since January, my parents started my arranged process so I had no option to tell him that I love him.

Before expressing my feelings for him, we had an argument and I behaved with emotional intensity and anger that’s why he said I think we should stop seeing each other as I don’t wanna hurt you.

Then I did manage to express my feelings via diary I wrote for him. I asked him to marry me.

Later he told me, he doesn’t love me (I know he loves me and how much love I have received from him, how much joy he has brought in my life & God also knows), he obviously doesn’t wanna marry me.

And forget about relationship and marriage, he doesn’t even wanna be with me in the present moment which is a bit shocking and feels like a spiritual attack because he is the one who enjoys my presence and till now, it was him wanting to be with me.

I asked him “you don’t wanna be with me just because I expressed my feelings and asked you to marry or due to my last time behavior?”

He said it has nothing to do with your diary and marriage, it’s only because of your behavior.

Everything was going great and how come this happened suddenly! Felt like enemy was there for our division.

After him deciding to part his ways, I was asking Lord if you want me not to give up and walk away and have faith & wait for reconciliation, please give me a sign.

If it was just because of my behavior, please pray for me to change my heart and his heart also so that he forgives me.

Last night, I saw a dream where I was in one house and I saw him.

He made me sit and opened a box where there was a ring inside.

He told me take this ring, make me wear this ring on his finger and ask the same question…

It was like ask me….this time, my answer would be yes!

Can anyone tell me what’s going on! Can you please interpret this dream?

We hear your heart’s deep longing and confusion, and we stand with you before the Lord, seeking His wisdom and comfort in this situation. Dreams can sometimes carry spiritual significance, but we must always measure them against Scripture, for God’s Word is our ultimate guide. The Bible tells us, *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God"* (1 John 4:1 WEB). While dreams may stir emotions or even reveal desires, they are not always direct messages from God—sometimes they reflect our own hopes, fears, or even the enemy’s attempts to deceive or discourage us.

First, let us address the foundation of your relationship. You mentioned a genuine connection, but we must ask: Was this relationship built on biblical principles? Was marriage ever the intended goal, or was it a relationship without the commitment God ordains? The Bible is clear that intimacy outside of marriage—emotionally or physically—is not God’s design. *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). If this relationship involved emotional or physical intimacy without the covenant of marriage, it may have been built on a shaky foundation, and the enemy could have used that to bring division. We must repent of any sin and seek God’s forgiveness, for He is faithful to cleanse us when we confess to Him (1 John 1:9).

Your dreams of marriage and connection are understandable—they reflect a God-given desire for companionship. However, we must also consider whether these dreams are being used to distract you from God’s will or to keep you in a cycle of longing rather than surrender. The enemy often twists our desires to keep us focused on what we *want* rather than what God *wills*. *"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways," says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 55:8 WEB). God’s plans for you are good, but they may not align with your current desires. Are you willing to trust Him, even if it means letting go of this relationship?

The argument and emotional outburst you described reveal an area where the Lord may be calling you to grow. Anger and emotional intensity can damage relationships, and Scripture warns us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice"* (Ephesians 4:31 WEB). Your behavior in that moment may have pushed him away, but it also reveals a need for the Holy Spirit to soften your heart and teach you self-control. We encourage you to ask God to search your heart and reveal any areas where you need to grow in gentleness, patience, and humility. *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1 WEB).

Now, let us address the arranged marriage process your parents have begun. In many cultures, arranged marriages are a tradition, but as believers, we must ensure that any potential spouse is a fellow follower of Christ. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If your parents are leading you toward a godly spouse, this could be God’s provision for you. However, if you are being pressured into a marriage that does not honor God, we must stand firm in our faith and trust that God will make a way. Pray for wisdom and discernment, and seek counsel from mature believers who can help you navigate this season.

Your question about whether these dreams are a sign from God is valid, but we must be cautious. The enemy can masquerade as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), and dreams can be influenced by our own desires or even demonic deception. Instead of relying solely on dreams, let us seek God’s will through His Word, prayer, and godly counsel. *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105 WEB). If God is leading you toward reconciliation, He will confirm it through His peace, His Word, and the counsel of wise believers—not just through dreams.

We also must address the fact that your prayers and this request do not mention the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach God or be saved. *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. If you are already a believer, we encourage you to pray in Jesus’ name, for His name carries authority and power.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that are heavy and confused. We lift up this sister to You, asking that You would draw near to her and comfort her in this season of uncertainty. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your will to her clearly—not through dreams alone, but through Your Word, Your peace, and Your Holy Spirit. Father, if this relationship was not built on Your principles, we ask that You would help her release it into Your hands and trust You for a godly spouse in Your perfect timing.

We repent, Lord, for any ways we have sought our own desires above Your will. Forgive us for any emotional outbursts, impatience, or sin that may have damaged relationships. Softening her heart, Father, and teach her to respond with gentleness and self-control. If there is any bitterness or unforgiveness in her heart, we ask that You would uproot it and replace it with Your love.

Lord, we also pray for the young man involved. If it is Your will for them to be reconciled, we ask that You would work in his heart, softening it and drawing him back. But if this relationship is not Your plan, we ask that You would close the door completely and give her the strength to walk away. Father, we pray for her parents’ wisdom in the arranged marriage process. Guide them to a spouse who loves You and will lead her in Your ways.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would be her first love. Fill the void in her heart with Your presence, and help her to find her identity and worth in You alone. May she seek You with all her heart, and may Your peace guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

In this season, we encourage you to draw near to God through His Word and prayer. Spend time in the Psalms, where David poured out his heart to God in times of confusion and longing. Seek godly counsel from mature believers who can speak truth into your life. And remember, God’s timing is perfect—even when it doesn’t align with our desires. *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh"* (Psalm 27:14 WEB). Trust Him, for He is faithful.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of your heart's longing and confusion. We've been praying for you, seeking God's wisdom and comfort in this situation. We understand the deep desire for connection and the pain of feeling divided from someone you care about.

First, let's remember that God loves you deeply and has a plan for you. He sees your heart's ache and wants to comfort you. In times like these, it's easy to focus on our desires, but let's strive to align our hearts with His will. He promises in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Now, about your dreams, they might be reflecting your heart's desires, but they aren't always direct messages from God. Always measure them against Scripture. As for the dream where you saw your beloved as a groom, it's possible it's your heart's way of expressing your hopes and fears. But remember, God's ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8), and His plans might not align with our current desires.

We've also been thinking about your relationship's foundation. If it was built on biblical principles and the commitment God ordains, then it has a solid base. But if it involved intimacy outside of marriage, it might have been shaky, and the enemy could have used that to bring division. Let's repent of any sin and seek God's forgiveness, for He is faithful to cleanse us (1 John 1:9).

Your dreams of marriage and connection are understandable, but let's also consider whether they're being used to distract you from God's will or keep you in a cycle of longing rather than surrender. Are you willing to trust Him, even if it means letting go of this relationship?

The argument and emotional outburst you described reveal an area where the Lord might be calling you to grow. Let's ask Him to search your heart and reveal any areas where you need to grow in gentleness, patience, and humility (Proverbs 15:1).

Lastly, let's pray together: "Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that are heavy and confused. We lift up our sister to You, asking that You would draw near to her and comfort her in this season of uncertainty. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your will to her clearly, not just through dreams, but through Your Word, Your peace, and Your Holy Spirit. Help her to release any relationships not built on Your principles into Your hands and trust You for a godly spouse in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's trust God together, dear friend. He sees you, He loves you, and He has a plan for you.
