How Is Being Rebellious To A Good God Bad?

Since we have the knowledge of good and evil, from eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, we, as humans, can not deny the basic tenant that doing good is good and doing evil is bad. The one who denies this is very insane with a lie of the evil one. Yet this so basic of a tenant is forgotten so often in what we end up doing because our wicked heart won't agree with our reasoning that tells us good good and evil bad. And our culture doesn't help. Do you like the King of Pop, Michael Jackson? He made it cool to be bad. "I'm bad, I'm bad, you know it... who's bad?" Anyway, not surprisingly, since he's no Christian artist, the rest of the song lyrics reflect the fact that he's saying that a Christian man is not a real man. All I can say is Jesus is the King of Kings, and He'll be the one getting all the glory in the end! So what does all of this mean for you and me? Of course nothing without the trust of our Lord Master and Savior Jesus the Christ at our right side, at our hip so that we can swing away at the foes with the sword of the spirit! And who are our foes? Let's look at Scripture: Ephesians 6:12 "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." So don't underestimate the powers of wicked forces in others. They are strongly influenced by evil philosophies and rulers if not entirely as with the unsaved. Do your work to extinguish this evil. In the world you will have many troubles, yet fear not for I am ever with you thus says the Lord.
