How do I maintain faith and God's will for me?

My faith and belief is really being tested. I can't seem to do anything right and all I see is stress, problems and more bills. I always ask for increase and overall a better life, but seem to only get the opposite result. Sometimes I feel like if I try to live like this "holy" person, I'd never see any result and feel like it was all done for nothing. Please help!!!
