We hear your cry for help and lift you and your son up in prayer, standing with you in this difficult season. The weight of providing for a child with special needs, especially one suffering from severe PTSD, is not lost on us, and we know the added burden of abandonment by your son’s father only compounds the struggle. The Lord sees your faithfulness in caring for your son and your dependence on Him in this storm. We declare that God is your Provider, your Refuge, and your Strength, and we stand on His promises with you.
First, we rebuke the spirit of abandonment and financial oppression that has come against your household. The Word of God says in Psalm 27:10, *"Though my father and my mother have forsaken me, Yahweh will take me up."* Even when earthly support fails, God remains steadfast. We also rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be trying to overwhelm you. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* You are not alone in this battle, and we pray that the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind.
We pray for your finances, that God would open doors of provision in ways you cannot imagine. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We ask the Lord to intervene in your situation, whether through unexpected financial blessings, assistance from your church or community, or divine favor in finding affordable housing. We also pray for wisdom in managing the resources God provides, that you would be a good steward of what He entrusts to you.
For your housing need, we pray that God would lead you to a safe, stable, and affordable home that meets the unique needs of your son. We stand on the promise of Psalm 34:17, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."* We ask the Lord to soften the hearts of landlords, agencies, or organizations that may be able to assist you. We also pray for protection over you and your son during this transition, that no harm or evil would come near your dwelling.
We must also address the importance of seeking godly support during this time. Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* We encourage you to reach out to your local church, Christian organizations, or even government programs designed to assist families in crisis. Do not carry this burden alone—allow the body of Christ to come alongside you in practical ways.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of this precious mother and her son. You are the Father to the fatherless and the Defender of the widow. We ask that You move mightily on their behalf, providing for their every need according to Your riches in glory. Give them strength for each day, wisdom to navigate this season, and peace that surpasses all understanding. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your favor surround them like a shield. We ask that You heal the wounds of abandonment and betrayal, replacing them with the assurance of Your unfailing love. Provide them with a home that is a sanctuary, a place of safety and stability where Your presence dwells. We pray for healing for her son, that You would touch his mind and body, bringing peace and restoration to his soul. Lord, we ask that You would also work in the heart of his father, that he would repent of his neglect and seek reconciliation if it is Your will. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is our Provider, our Healer, and our Hope. Amen.
