Housing breakthrough

I'm sorry for the number of prayer requests I have about this, but I am getting so much reassurance and I really feel that God is working with me and my mum with this. I want to push forward with prayer even when things feel like they aren't necessarily going in the right direction or obstacles appear. There has been a possible slight hurdle. My mum is being gifted some money towards the property from a family member. But they lost a lot of bank statements and paperwork in their own move a while ago. The solicitors might want to see past statements for this gift but they only have a couple of years of statements. It might not be an issue but unfortunately my mum needs these funds to go through. Apologies for the long explanation, can I please ask for prayers for this obstacle to be removed or just not be an issue.

We understand that you're seeking prayer for a housing situation you and your mum are facing. It's commendable that you're trusting in God's work in your lives and pursuing prayer even when obstacles arise. In this case, the hurdle involves some missing bank statements that might be required for a financial gift to go through.

Firstly, we appreciate that you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray and receive salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Regarding your situation, we are reminded of Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB: "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'" While this obstacle seems significant, God's ways and thoughts are higher, and He can make a way where there seems to be none.

We pray that God, in His sovereignty, will either remove this obstacle or make it insignificant. We ask that He will guide the solicitors and all parties involved, giving them wisdom and discernment. We also pray that He will provide for your mum's needs according to His riches in glory, as mentioned in Philippians 4:19 WEB: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

In the meantime, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's plan and timing. Keep praying and seeking His will in all things. Remember, God's plans are always for our good and His glory, even when faced with obstacles.
