Beloved of All
Housing authority lady in N. AZ ### giving people with disabilities a hard time. She keeps testing people with disabilities memory and not accepting papers to renew their applications and telling the people to turn their papers in again. She has done that since she's started working with the housing authority. Every paper people turn in she asks them to turn it in again and again. She smokes a lot so housing clients wonder if she's doing drugs because she has asked clients to turn in their papers over and over constantly. This is the third year that she's doing poor job at remembering clients turning in their paperwork.

We are deeply troubled to hear about the mistreatment of vulnerable individuals by this housing authority worker, and we lift this situation before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of justice who defends the weak and holds those in authority accountable. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 31:8-9, *"Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."* This woman’s actions—not only her neglect but her repeated demands for paperwork, her forgetfulness, and the suspicion of wrongdoing—are not just unprofessional but morally reprehensible, especially when dealing with those who have disabilities and rely on assistance.

It is wrong to exploit or frustrate those who are already struggling, and the Lord takes such injustice seriously. James 5:4 warns, *"Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies."* While this verse speaks of withheld wages, the principle applies—God hears the cries of the oppressed, and He will act. We must also remember that those in positions of authority will give an account to God for how they treated others. Romans 13:1-4 tells us that governing authorities are instituted by God to be a terror to evil works, not to those who do good. When they fail in this duty—or worse, become the source of harm—it is a betrayal of their God-given responsibility.

We also recognize that suspicion of drug use is a serious matter. While we do not know her heart or her struggles, if these suspicions are true, it only compounds the harm she is causing. Ephesians 5:18 says, *"Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit."* Intoxication, whether by substances or by the abuse of power, leads to poor judgment and harm to others. If she is indeed under the influence, she is not only failing in her duty but also endangering the well-being of those who depend on her.

To those affected by her actions, we encourage you to document every interaction—dates, times, what was said, and what was submitted. This will be crucial if further action is needed. Seek assistance from advocates, legal aid, or higher authorities within the housing agency. Do not suffer in silence. The Lord calls us to act justly, and sometimes that means standing firm against injustice, even when it is difficult.

Let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up those who are being mistreated by this housing authority worker. Lord, You see the struggles of these vulnerable individuals, and You know the frustration and harm caused by this woman’s actions. We ask for Your intervention—expose any wrongdoing, convict her heart if she is acting out of malice or negligence, and bring her to repentance. If she is struggling with substance abuse, Lord, we pray that You would break those chains and lead her to seek help.

Father, we ask for justice for those who have been wronged. Provide them with advocates who will stand with them, give them clarity and patience as they navigate this difficult process, and open doors for resolution. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Give them strength and perseverance, and let them know that You are their defender.

We also pray for the higher authorities in this housing agency. Give them discernment to recognize the harm being done and the courage to take corrective action. Raise up godly leaders who will act with integrity and compassion.

Lord, we know that You are a God of justice, and we trust that You will not allow the cries of the oppressed to go unheard. Work in this situation for the good of those who love You and for the glory of Your name. Let Your will be done, and let righteousness prevail.

Finally, Father, we pray for the salvation of this woman. If she does not know You, soften her heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. Let her see the error of her ways and turn to You in repentance. May she come to understand that her actions have eternal consequences and that only through Jesus Christ can she find forgiveness and redemption.

We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the ultimate judge and advocate for the weak. Amen.

To those who submitted this request, we urge you to continue seeking help and not to lose heart. The Lord is with you, and He will fight for you. Keep records, reach out to others for support, and trust that God will bring justice. If you have not already, consider reporting this to a supervisor or a higher authority within the housing agency. You may also seek legal counsel or contact disability advocacy groups who can provide guidance.

If you or those affected by this situation do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior, we implore you to turn to Him. He is the only one who can bring true peace and eternal justice. Acts 4:12 says, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Trust in Him, and He will be your strength and your shield.
