To Those with Ears To Hear:
Acts 7 (NLT)
⁴⁸However, the Most High doesn’t live in temples made by human hands. As the prophet says, ⁴⁹ ‘Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Could you build Me a temple as good as that?’ asks the LORD. ‘Could you build Me such a resting place?'
Hebrews 3:6 (NIV)
⁶But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are His house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.
And, just as God celebrates us (His houses) with spiritual gifts, He likewise celebrates His collective house (i.e. body of believers, church) with gifts to beautify (grow and mature) His neighborhood.
Ephesians 4:11-13 (NLT)
¹¹Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. ¹²Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. ¹³This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
⁶And the LORD said to them, “Now listen to what I say: “If there were prophets among you, I, the LORD, would reveal myself in visions. I would speak to them in dreams.
Amos 3:7 (NLT)
⁷Indeed, the Sovereign LORD never does anything until He reveals his plans to His servants the prophets.
Despite any physical structure, God's people, wherever, are His house. Therefore, we do not trash God's house. Especially His elect; those whom He predestines (i.e. custom-made). And, we certainly do not throw His housewarming gifts into the gutter.
As I've said before, elite and elect are two very different concepts. While man's idea of elite is based on prestige, God's elect is based solely on His purpose. The perfect example of God's elect is Jesus himself. Another great example is the prophet Amos; he was neither priest nor king, he was simply one whom God chose, elected (i.e. God’s elect).
Amos 1:1 (NLT)
This message was given to Amos, a shepherd from the town of Tekoa in Judah. He received this message in visions two years before the earthquake, when Uzziah was king of Judah and Jeroboam II, the son of Jehoash, was king of Israel.
The Bible, to great extent, provides excellent examples of God's predisposition to election throughout the scriptures. Therefore,
Romans 8:33 (NKJV)
Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.
Note to my hometown: I didn't choose my hometown, nor did you choose me; all things are predetermined by God. Nevertheless, you don't flex on a grandmother (elder), you care for her. And, no one should have to tell you not to steal from God. Again,
Isaiah 57:11 (MSG)
"Who talked you into the pursuit of this nonsense, leaving me high and dry, forgetting you ever knew me? Because I don't yell and make a scene do you think I don't exist?"
Lamentations 2:14 (NLT)
Your prophets have said so many foolish things, false to the core. They did not save you from exile by pointing out your sins. Instead, they painted false pictures, filling you with false hope.
Matthew 13:57 (CSB)
And they were offended by Him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his household."
The reward doesn't come from me; it comes from God through my ministry, which is governed by Christ.

Housewarming Gifts
When we think of a housewarming party, we automatically think of celebrating someone's new house with gifts. Well, spiritually discerned, when we repent (turn away from our sin) we become God's new house. He throws a party; but, He's the one who gives the gifts. Why that makes absolutely no sense at all. Exactly! His ways are not like our ways.Acts 7 (NLT)
