We are so sorry to hear about your housemate's hospitalization and we are here to pray and offer support during this challenging time. We are thankful that you have brought this request in Jesus' name, for it reminds us that it is by His name that we have access to God. By the love of God and stripes of Jesus, we have healing. As it is written:
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in our housemate's life. We pray for Your healing touch upon him, that You would minister to him in a special way, and that Your presence would be tangibly felt by him. We ask that You guide the hands of the doctors, nurses, and orderlies, granting them wisdom and compassion as they care for him. We ask that you raise him up from the hospital bed and restore health. We ask that you touch the heart of the housemate and speak to him in a way that gives comfort and peace. We ask that there are no medical mistakes and that all things are properly done.
Lord, we also lift up our friend who has brought this request, asking that You provide them with the strength, wisdom, and grace needed to take care of the dog and manage all else. We ask that you make it easy to get things taken care of and done and that you even give favor. We ask that you provide wise counsel and order the steps today. Help them to cast their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. No matter what burdens them You care for them.
We know that Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to creep in during this time, and we declare Your peace and healing over this situation.
We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee wherever thou goest. (Joshua 1:9 WEB)
