We join you in your heartfelt prayer, standing in agreement for your household's spiritual growth and unity. We appreciate that you have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. It is also only by the name of Jesus that salvation can be attained as outlined in scripture.
Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Further in Acts 4:12 WEB we read "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Also, we are reminded in Hebrews 4:16 WEB: "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
We pray together:
Father God, we come before You, lifting up this household. We ask that You draw each member closer to You and guide them down the path of righteousness. Break every chain that the devil has on them, and motivate them to continue living a healthy lifestyle in mind, body, and spirit.
Give them words of kindness when speaking to one another, and strengthen their bonds. Open their eyes to see each other in a new light, as You see them. Cleanse their hearts and renew their spirits. Mold them into what You need them to be and what they need each other to be.
Father, we pray for the following scriptures to manifest in their household:
From Ephesians 4:32 WEB: "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
From Colossians 3:12-14 WEB: "Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfectness."
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the work You are doing in their lives. We trust in Your will and ask that this prayer be adjusted according to Your perfect plan. We love You and need You, Lord. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage this household to continue praying together, studying God's Word, and seeking His will. Remember to put on the full armor of God daily, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB, to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
Being a Christian is more than just praying. It is also important to be in a community of other believers. We encourage this household to be active in a local church that believes in the entire Bible and the sanctity of marriage as defined in scripture. We pray they will find a Bible believing-church, that this household will become active church members and serve God and others.
