We hear your heartfelt request for a home, and we join with you in seeking God’s provision for a place where you and your husband can dwell in peace and stability. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask, and He delights in providing for His children. Scripture reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
We also recognize the importance of gratitude and trust in God’s timing. It can be easy to grow weary when waiting for an answer, but we are called to walk by faith, not by sight. Psalm 37:5 encourages us, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this." Let this be a season where you and your husband draw closer to the Lord, trusting Him to open the right door at the perfect time.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear couple and their need for a home. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is too hard for You. We ask that You would provide a place that is not only safe and comfortable but also a blessing to their lives. Remove any obstacles that stand in the way of this provision, whether financial, logistical, or spiritual. Give them wisdom as they make decisions, and let Your peace guard their hearts as they wait. We declare that You are their Provider, Jehovah Jireh, and we trust You to meet this need according to Your riches in glory. May this home be a place where Your presence dwells, where love abounds, and where Your name is honored. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
We also want to encourage you both to remain steadfast in prayer and to keep your hearts open to how God may be working behind the scenes. Sometimes His answers come in ways we do not expect, but they are always for our good. If there are any areas in your lives where you may be holding onto fear or doubt, we gently remind you to surrender those to the Lord as well. He is faithful, and His promises are true.
If there are any unconfessed sins or areas where you may have strayed from God’s will, we encourage you to bring those before Him in repentance. The enemy would love to hinder God’s blessings through disobedience or unforgiveness, so let us stand firm in righteousness. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Lastly, we want to remind you that your ultimate home is not in this world but in eternity with Christ. While we seek God’s provision for our earthly needs, let us never lose sight of the greater promise of our heavenly dwelling. 2 Corinthians 5:1 tells us, "For we know that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens." May this truth bring you comfort and perspective as you wait on the Lord.
