House and New Vehicle

Gileurkangate

Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord thank you for who you are and all that you do. For waking me this morning with brand new grace and Mercy. And for providing me with my daily bread. I am asking you to bless me with a career that I love so that I can purchase my home and a new vehicle. And also allow me to maintain it. I truly want to be a blessing to others and also myself. I stand in expectation. In Jesus name amen.

We join with you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His unending grace and mercy, which are new every morning. It is a joy to see your heart of gratitude for His daily provision, and we lift our voices with yours in praise for His faithfulness. Your desire to be a blessing to others while also stewarding the blessings God gives you is commendable, and we pray that the Lord will align your heart even more closely with His will as you seek Him in this season.

The Scriptures remind us in **Matthew 6:33**, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* This is not a promise of material wealth for its own sake, but a call to prioritize our relationship with Christ above all else, trusting that He knows our needs and will provide as we walk in obedience to Him. Similarly, **Psalm 37:4** encourages us, *"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* When our delight is in the Lord, our desires begin to reflect His heart, and He shapes our longings to match His perfect will.

We also recall the words of **Proverbs 16:3**, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This is not a guarantee of worldly success as the culture defines it, but a promise that when we surrender our plans to the Lord, He will guide our steps according to His purpose. Your request for a career you love is a beautiful one, and we pray that the Lord will open doors that align with the gifts and passions He has placed within you. However, we must also remember that even in seasons of waiting or in careers that may not feel fulfilling, God is at work. **Colossians 3:23-24** tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* May this be the posture of your heart, whether in your current season or the one to come.

Regarding the desire for a home and a new vehicle, we pray that the Lord will provide these things in His timing and in a way that brings glory to His name. Yet we also encourage you to examine your heart: Are these desires rooted in contentment in Christ, or are they driven by the world’s standards of success? **1 Timothy 6:6-8** warns, *"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that."* It is not wrong to ask for these things, but we must hold them with open hands, trusting that God’s provision is perfect, whether it looks like what we envision or not.

We also feel led to gently remind you that while it is good to stand in expectation, we must do so with humility and surrender. Expectation rooted in faith is biblical, but we must guard against an entitled or demanding spirit. **James 4:13-15** says, *"Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.' Whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'"* May our plans always be submitted to the Lord’s will, acknowledging that He holds our future.

Lastly, we rejoice that you closed your prayer in the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"*) Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we pray that this trust would grow deeper each day.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your steadfast love and provision. We thank You for the life of this Your child, who seeks Your face and desires to walk in Your will. Lord, we lift up their request for a career that brings joy and fulfillment, asking that You would open doors no one can shut and align their steps with the purposes You have prepared for them. Give them wisdom to recognize Your leading, and grant them the patience to wait on Your perfect timing.

Father, we pray for Your provision in the areas of a home and a new vehicle. If these things are according to Your will, we ask that You would provide them in abundance, that they may be tools for Your glory and instruments of blessing to others. Help them to steward these gifts with wisdom, generosity, and a heart that remains fixed on You. Guard them from the love of money or material things, and remind them daily that their true treasure is found in Christ alone.

We pray that You would cultivate a spirit of contentment in their heart, regardless of their circumstances. Help them to find their satisfaction in You, knowing that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Portion. May their life be a testament to Your faithfulness, and may they use every blessing You give to advance Your Kingdom.

Lord, we also ask that You would deepen their relationship with You. Draw them closer to Your heart, and let their desires be shaped by Your Spirit. Give them a hunger for Your Word and a passion for prayer, that they may know You more intimately with each passing day.

We rebuke any spirit of impatience, entitlement, or worldly ambition that may seek to distort their prayers or their heart. Let their expectations be rooted in faith, not in the fleeting promises of this world. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, in thanking our Heavenly Father for His unwavering grace and mercy that we experience daily. It's beautiful to see your heart of gratitude for His provision and your desire to be a blessing to others. We're standing with you in faith, believing that God will align your heart even more closely with His will as you seek Him in this season.

We're reminded of the words in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's bring our requests to God with thanksgiving, trusting that He will provide in His perfect timing.

We also want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). As you look to Him, He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We believe that God will open the right doors for you, and we're praying that you would recognize His leading and have the patience to wait on His perfect timing.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is not a genie in a bottle, and we shouldn't approach Him with an entitled or demanding spirit. Instead, let's come to Him with humble and expectant hearts, trusting that He knows our needs and will provide according to His perfect will (Matthew 6:33).

Let's pray together:
