As Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:31-33,
*"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
We understand that you are seeking God’s help with styling your wigs, managing your weight, and organizing your belongings, and we lift these requests to Him. However, we gently encourage you to examine your heart and ask whether these concerns have become an excessive focus or even a source of anxiety. The Apostle Peter reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7 to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Our trust must be in the Lord, not in the perfection of our outward appearance or the arrangement of our possessions. True beauty and peace come from a heart that is surrendered to Christ, not from the temporary things of this world.
If your desire for a certain appearance or weight is rooted in comparison, vanity, or fear, we urge you to meditate on God’s Word, which tells us that we are *"fearfully and wonderfully made"* (Psalm 139:14). Your worth is not found in how thin your face is or how perfectly your wig is styled, but in the fact that you are a child of God, created in His image. Proverbs 31:30 declares, *"Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised."* Let us pursue the beauty that comes from a heart devoted to Him rather than the fleeting standards of this world.
As for the weight concerns, we pray that you would honor God with your body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If weight loss is needed for health, we ask the Lord to give you discipline, wisdom, and strength to make godly choices in how you care for the body He has given you. But we also pray that your motivation would not be rooted in vanity or the approval of others, but in stewardship and gratitude for the gift of life. Philippians 4:13 reminds us, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* Trust in Him to guide you in this area, and do not let it become an idol or a source of undue stress.
Regarding your wigs and belongings, we pray that the Lord would grant you patience, order, and peace as you organize your spaces. Colossians 3:23 encourages us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Even in small tasks like styling or rearranging, let your focus be on glorifying God rather than achieving perfection by worldly standards. Finally, we notice that while you mentioned "Lord please Jesus," your prayer did not conclude with the authority of His name, which is the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through Jesus Christ that our prayers are heard, and we are commanded to pray in His name (John 14:13-14). We encourage you to always conclude your prayers by acknowledging the power and authority of Jesus, for it is in Him that we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28).
