Hope And Guidance

Recently I posted a prayer relating to my wife divorcing me.  We were meant to be divorced 5 days prior to Christmas but mistakes were made and we remain married, which leads me to the following request for prayer.

Today I received corrected documents from my wife so that she can continue and complete our divorce.  I am forced to respond but I intend to respond with a final plea to her to reconsider this decision.  Please pray that The Lord is with me as I write this plea helping me find the words to touch her heart, and that when she reads it she is moved to end her relationship with the man she is with and return to our marriage withdrawing her divorce petition.  I put this before all of you good people here in the hopes that "if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by My father in heaven.  For where two or three gather in His name, there He is with us."

Father, We know Your thoughts toward us are of peace and to give us a future and a hope. We know you have a perfect plan for our lives and we thank You for caring so much for us. Your Word promises that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through You, Father to the tearing down of strongholds in our lives. Thank You that You have promised also that if we will resist the devil he will flee from us. We are so thankful that You surround us with Your holy angels and that You let them fight for us in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen Hallelujah!

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
