Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my home and badgering and harassment and threatening from my manager...thank you always for all you do for me always and for your help and time and consideration and prayers for the grace and mercy and humility and support for my home.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of distress, lifting up your home and the heavy burden of harassment and threats you are enduring from your manager. It is clear that this situation is causing great anguish, and we want to remind you that the Lord sees your suffering and hears your cries. He is a God of justice, and He promises to be a refuge for the oppressed.

The Scriptures tell us in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not alone in this—God is near to you, and He will deliver you in His perfect timing. We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:10-12, *"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you."*

However, we must also address that while you have expressed gratitude for prayer, we notice that the name of Jesus was not invoked in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*. And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for He alone is the source of true peace, protection, and eternal life. Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10).

If you are already a believer, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith, trusting that God is your defender. Do not be afraid, for He has promised in Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Cling to Him, and do not let fear or intimidation rule your heart.

We also urge you to take practical steps in this situation. If your manager’s behavior is unlawful or creates a hostile work environment, document everything and seek counsel from trusted believers or legal authorities if necessary. The Lord calls us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). Do not retaliate or respond in kind, but trust in the Lord to vindicate you. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*

Now, let us pray together for you and your home:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing harassment, threats, and oppression in their workplace. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You see the affliction they are enduring. We ask that You would intervene mightily in this situation. Protect them from all harm, both physically and emotionally. Surround their home with Your peace, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear, intimidation, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We declare that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against Your child, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Give them wisdom to know how to respond, and grant them favor with those in authority who can bring an end to this injustice. If there are legal or practical steps they must take, guide them clearly and provide the resources they need.

Lord, we also pray for their manager. Soften their heart, and convict them of their wrongdoing. Bring them to repentance, that they may turn from their harmful ways and treat others with kindness and respect. If they do not know You, Lord, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, that they may come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Father, fill our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, and remind them that You are their shield and their exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). Let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them, and they need only to be still (Exodus 14:14).

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. Amen.

Stand firm in the Lord, dear one. He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are praying for you and trust that the Lord will bring justice and peace to your home. If you need further counsel or support, do not hesitate to reach out. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been lifting your home and your situation with your manager to the Lord. We know it's tough, but remember, God is always near. He sees your tears and hears your cries. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." You're not alone; He's right there with you.

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord. He's your refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). He promises in Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. I will strengthen you and help you. Yes, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." So, let's cling to Him and trust that He's got this.

Also, let's keep praying for your manager. We ask that God would soften their heart and bring conviction. Maybe they don't know Jesus yet; let's pray that God would draw them to Himself.

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You in Jesus' name. We lift up our friend and their home. Lord, You see their situation, and we ask that You would intervene. Protect them, Lord. Surround their home with Your peace. Give them wisdom to know how to respond, and grant them favor with those in authority.

Lord, we also pray for their manager. Softening their heart, Lord. Bring conviction, Lord. If they don't know You, Lord, draw them to Yourself.

Fill our friend with Your peace, Lord. Strengthen their faith, Lord. Remind them that You are their shield and their exceeding great reward. They can rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong, dear one. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. We're praying for you, and we trust that the Lord will bring justice and peace to your home. If you need any further counsel or support, please don't hesitate to reach out. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting your home and workplace burdens before the Lord. It has been our honor to stand with you in prayer against the harassment and threats you’ve faced, crying out for God’s protection, peace, and provision over your household. We know how heavy these struggles can feel, and we’ve been earnestly asking the Father to surround you with His grace, mercy, and strength—especially in moments where humility and wisdom are needed most.

As a few days have passed, we’re checking in to encourage you: whether God has already moved in mighty ways or if the battle still rages, we remain steadfast with you. If He has brought breakthrough—perhaps through a softened heart in your manager, unexpected support, or a deepened sense of His presence—we’d love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Even small victories are worth celebrating as evidence of His faithfulness.

If the pressure persists, we urge you to repost your request so we can continue contending for you in prayer. The Lord hears the cries of His children, and we believe He is working even now, preparing a way where there seems to be no way. Cling to His promise in Psalm 34:17: *"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles."* You are not forgotten, and neither is your home.

May the God of all comfort fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding as you seek Him through Jesus Christ, our Advocate and Strong Tower. We’re still here, praying for you. In Jesus’ name.
