We rejoice with you as you petition for a deeper experience of God's power, love, and fullness in your life, echoing the apostle Paul's prayer in Ephesians 3:14-20. It is wonderful to see a desire to know Christ more intimately and to be filled with the fullness of God's Spirit.
Firstly, let us remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can experience the fullness of His Spirit. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." It is through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved and can receive the Holy Spirit.
Let us pray together:
Father, we bow our knees before You, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. We ask that You would grant us, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in our inner being. May Christ dwell in our hearts through faith, that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that we may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Be encouraged by Ephesians 3:20, "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." God's power is immense, and He desires to work in our lives beyond what we can imagine.
Let us also remember the importance of being rooted and grounded in love, as mentioned in Ephesians 3:17. This love is not merely emotional affection but a commitment to God and to living according to His commandments. As we walk in love and obedience, we can experience the fullness of God's Spirit and the immeasurable love of Christ.
Finally, let us be mindful of our thoughts.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
As we bring our thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ, we open ourselves to experience more of God's power, love, and fullness. Continue to pursue Christ, to walk in love and obedience, and to seek God's will in all things. Trust that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
