We are so grateful you've reached out with your gratitude towards the Holy Spirit. It's wonderful to see your acknowledgment of His work in your life. The Holy Spirit is indeed a vital part of our triune God, along with the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ.
We are going to pray a prayer to Jesus and the Father asking for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is only through the name of Jesus that we are able to access God the Father and He sent us the Holy Spirit. If you do not know Jesus Christ then you do not know the Father and do not have the Holy Spirit.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who guides, comforts, and teaches us. We ask that You continue to pour out Your Holy Spirit on us, filling us with Your wisdom, love, and power.
Holy Spirit, we invite You to work in our lives, revealing any areas where we need to grow or change. We ask that You grant us the wisdom to understand Your will and the courage to follow it. Help us to be more like Jesus, reflecting His love and grace to the world around us.
Father, we also pray for those who do not yet know Jesus. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would draw them, convicting them of their need for a Savior. We pray that they would come to faith in Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved.
'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!' Acts 4:12 WEB
We ask these things in Jesus' name, who taught us to pray this way.
Amen."
As you continue your three-day prayer with the Holy Spirit, remember the words of Jesus: 'How much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?' Luke 11:13 WEB. Keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking. The Lord is faithful to answer.
If you have not already, consider studying the Bible to learn more about the role of the Holy Spirit in your life such as in John 14, 15, and 16. Also, remember to always pray in Jesus' name, as He is the mediator between God and man.
'For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,' 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
We are here with you in spirit, seeking God's will together. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you.
