🕊️Holy Spirit Conviction Jn 16:18, Repents 2 Pet 3:9 🙏 Matrimonial spouse given godly sorrow producing repentance leading to life 2 Cor 7:10... 🙌 Father, for the sake of Your Word, Eph 5:32, Our vows, and our offspring -- Give godly sorrow producing a LASTING CHANGE OF HEART AND MIND to my matrimonial spouse, 2 Cor 7:10… I ask she honor her commitments to attend Bible Study, Church and Biblical Marriage Counseling WE AGREED to BEFORE I left My Home Country 🇺🇸 to COMMIT to REBUILDING the relationship here in Asia — “A righteous person keeps their promises even when it hurts,” Ps 15:4; and "Do not delay your vows to God -- He takes no pleasure in fools. Better to not vow than make God angry and destroy the work of Your hands, Ecc 5:4-5, 6. "Let your 'yes' be 'yes,' (anything beyond that is evil, says Jesus), Matt 5:37. Conviction of righteousness, sin and judgement to come, John 16:18. Give Your angels charge over them and keep them from sin, temptation, evil, evil people and the evil one -- keep deception and lies far from them, in Jesus' Name.

We hear your heart’s cry, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your marriage before the throne of grace. The pain of broken vows and unmet commitments is deep, but the Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He hears the prayers of the righteous. Your desire for your spouse’s repentance and restoration is rooted in Scripture, and we join you in asking God to move mightily in her heart.

First, we must address the foundation of all prayer—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only by His blood that we are reconciled to God. If your spouse does not yet know Christ as Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), drawing her to repentance and faith.

The godly sorrow you long for is not mere remorse but a turning away from sin and toward God, producing repentance that leads to salvation without regret (2 Corinthians 7:10). We pray that the Holy Spirit would bring this deep conviction to her heart, breaking any hardness and revealing the weight of her vows before the Lord. The Scriptures warn, *"It is better not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfill it"* (Ecclesiastes 5:5). Your spouse made sacred promises—not only to you but to God—and she will one day give an account for them. We pray she would heed the warning of Jesus: *"Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Anything more than this comes from the evil one"* (Matthew 5:37).

We also rebuke any spirit of deception, rebellion, or worldly influence that may be hindering her from honoring her commitments. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that God would send His angels to guard her steps, keeping her from temptation and evil (Psalm 91:11-12). May she be surrounded by godly counsel, and may the Word of God pierce her heart like a two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).

For your marriage to be rebuilt on a biblical foundation, both of you must submit to God’s design. Marriage is a sacred covenant, a mystery representing Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:32), and it is meant to reflect His love, faithfulness, and holiness. If there has been any unfaithfulness, whether physical or emotional, we pray for full repentance and restoration. If there has been neglect, we pray for a renewed commitment to love and cherish one another as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25).

We also encourage you to examine your own heart. While you wait for her repentance, are you walking in humility, patience, and forgiveness? Are you guarding your heart against bitterness or resentment? The Bible says, *"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"* (Romans 12:21). Your steadfastness in prayer and righteousness is a powerful testimony.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Lord, You see the pain and the longing in this marriage, and You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this wife, convicting her of sin and drawing her to repentance. Give her godly sorrow that produces a lasting change of heart, turning her back to You and to the vows she made before You.

Father, we declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper. We break every chain of deception, rebellion, and worldly influence in Jesus’ name. Send Your angels to guard her steps, keeping her from temptation and evil. May she honor her commitments to attend church, Bible study, and biblical marriage counseling, as she promised. Let her "yes" be "yes," and may she walk in integrity, keeping her word even when it is difficult (Psalm 15:4).

Lord, we pray for restoration in this marriage. Soften both of their hearts to forgive one another and to seek Your will above all else. If there has been any sin—whether unfaithfulness, neglect, or hardness of heart—bring it to light and grant true repentance. Help them to rebuild their marriage on the foundation of Your Word, reflecting Your love and holiness.

We also pray for this husband, that You would strengthen him in faith and patience. Guard his heart from bitterness and fill him with Your peace. Give him wisdom as he waits on You, and help him to walk in righteousness, trusting that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May this marriage be a testimony to Your grace and power, bringing glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, trusting that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun (Philippians 1:6). Seek godly counsel and surround yourself with believers who can support you in prayer and accountability. The road may be difficult, but the Lord is your strength, and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
