Holy Father in Heaven, I thank You that You hear our prayers and that it is not us that You see when we come to You but Your perfect Son. I thank You that You have made us coheirs with Christ. We than You! Hallelujah. Because of this, Lord, I come boldly to Your throne and beseech You on the behalf of Mark. Lord, it is You that seek us even when we are not looking for You. I ask Lord that You would seek him even more intensely. I ask that he will be filled with thoughts and emotions that You have inspired in him which he cannot shake or distract himself from... I ask that Your truth would be breathed into him and that he would know what is evil in Your sight. I ask that he would flee evil desires, activities, and company. I ask that he would hunger and thirst for righteousness. I ask that he would have a deep desire to be the man You created him to be and that You would reveal in his innermost being who that man is. I ask that this would not just be in his innermost core, but that it would also manifest into his conscious understanding. Lord, let him desire to read Your word and to pray to You. Lord, I ask that he would see that life is fleeting and every tomorrow is unknown. Lord, let him be shaken to the core until the moment that he finally turns from all his rebellion against You and Your Spirit and surrenders fully to You. Let light shine in the darkness in Jesus name, amen.
