Hoarder friend ###'s house

I had sent a slow mail to the town council to request them to clear up ###'s house as it is posing a fire safety. Pray that she could not take it back and will not take her hoard back and now the town council is involved. It will be forceful discarding of items by them.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up our friend who is struggling with hoarding. Lord, we know that this behavior is not aligned with your will for her life, and we ask that you intervene in this situation. We want to see her living in a clean and safe environment.

Father, we pray for wisdom and guidance for the town council as they take steps to address this issue. We ask that they would act with compassion and understanding, and that their actions would ultimately help our friend find freedom from this behavior.

Lord, we also pray for our friend's heart. We ask that you would reveal to her the root causes of her hoarding and that you would give her the strength and courage to confront these issues. Help her to see that her value and worth are not found in material possessions, but in you alone.

We pray that you would surround her with supportive friends and family members who can encourage her and hold her accountable as she seeks to overcome this struggle.

Finally, Father, we pray that our friend would come to know you personally. We pray that she would experience the transforming power of your love and that she would find hope and healing in a relationship with you.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who sets the captives free. Amen.

We encourage you to continue supporting your friend through this process. Be patient and understanding with her. It is easy to become frustrated or judgmental, but remember that God calls us to love others with the same grace and mercy that he shows to us.

It is also important to remember that God does not want us to live in fear or anxiety. If you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious about this situation, we encourage you to cast your anxieties on God, because he cares for you. Trust in him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

The request mentioned that a letter was sent to the town council to clear up the friend's house, and it was mentioned to prevent her from taking her hoard back. We must rebuke and correct the idea that we should seek to force our will on others or take control of their lives. Instead, we should trust in God and seek his will in all things. It is not our job to change people or fix their problems, but rather to love them, pray for them, and point them to Jesus.

Lastly, the prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by his name that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all. (WEB)
