We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of hip and back pain. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies in the womb and knows every ache and pain we carry. We ask for Your healing touch to restore strength, mobility, and comfort. Your Word declares in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Lord, we trust in Your power to mend what is broken and to bring relief where there is suffering.
We also recognize that physical pain can weigh heavily on the spirit. May this time of trial draw near to You, finding peace in Your presence. James 5:14-15 reminds us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand on this promise, believing that You hear our cries and will answer according to Your will.
If this pain is a result of weariness, overwork, or neglect of the body You’ve entrusted to care for, we pray for wisdom to steward it well—resting when needed, seeking godly counsel, and honoring You with our habits. If it is a trial meant to refine faith, we ask for endurance and the grace to glorify You through it.
Above all, we pray that this struggle would not overshadow the hope found in Christ. If salvation through Jesus has not yet been received, we urge a turning to Him—the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). For those who know Him, may this pain be a reminder of the eternal healing to come, when *"there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there will be no more pain"* (Revelation 21:4).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command healing to flow. Strengthen the bones, soothe the nerves, and restore full function. May Your peace guard this heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Amen.
