Higher paying job to meet my family’s needs

Thank you for bringing your petition before the Lord. We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and family.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father Philippians 2:8-11 WEB.
We understand your desire to provide for your family, and it is commendable. The Bible clearly teaches the importance of caring for one's family. "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB.
However, we must also remember that God's provision comes in many forms, and His ways are higher than our ways. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," says Yahweh. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB.
As you seek a higher-paying job, consider also to seek God's will and guidance. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your provision. Lord, You know the heart's desire to provide for the family and to meet their needs. We ask that You guide them to the right job, that opens up new opportunities, and allows them to fulfill Your purpose for their life. Help them to trust in You, to seek Your will, and to be patient as they wait for Your provision.
Lord, we also pray for their family, that You would meet their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to be content in all circumstances, knowing that You are their provider.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
