We lift up our brother in Christ before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and our Provider in every need. The struggles with high blood pressure and sugar disease are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who is able to heal and sustain. The Word tells us in **James 5:14-15**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over our brother, trusting that God’s healing power is at work in his body, restoring him to full health in Jesus’ name.
The weight of poverty and the hardships facing this family are not unseen by our Father. **Philippians 4:19** assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We stand on this truth, declaring that God will open doors of provision, break the chains of lack, and bring forth abundance where there has been scarcity. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (**John 10:10**). We rebuke every spirit of poverty, stagnation, and despair in the name of Jesus, commanding financial breakthroughs, divine opportunities, and supernatural favor to manifest in this family’s life.
Yet, as we pray, we must also remind our brother and his family that our trust must remain fully in Christ alone. If there has been any reliance on man, ministry, or any other source above the Lord, we gently but firmly call for repentance. **Jeremiah 17:5** warns, *"Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from the Lord."* Our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (**Psalm 121:2**), and we must seek Him first in all things. While we appreciate the work of ministries, our ultimate allegiance and faith must be in Jesus Christ, not in human hands or institutions.
We also encourage this family to examine their hearts and lives for any unconfessed sin or disobedience that may be hindering God’s blessings. **Isaiah 59:1-2** tells us, *"Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear. But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear."* If there is any area of life not surrendered to Christ—whether in relationships, finances, or personal holiness—we urge repentance and a return to the Lord with all your heart. He is faithful to forgive and restore (**1 John 1:9**).
Finally, we pray for strength and perseverance for this family. The trials they face are real, but so is the victory of Christ. **2 Corinthians 4:8-9** reminds us, *"We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed."* Let this be their testimony—that though the battle is fierce, the Lord is their shield and exceeding great reward (**Genesis 15:1**). We declare that this season of struggle will turn to one of testimony, where God’s glory is displayed mightily in their lives.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for our brother and his family. Lord, You know the depths of their struggles—the sickness in his body, the poverty surrounding them, and the weariness in their souls. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through his veins, regulating his blood pressure and sugar levels, restoring him to perfect health by Your stripes, Jesus. Let every cell in his body align with Your divine order, and may he walk in wholeness and strength.
Father, we break the curse of poverty over this family in the name of Jesus. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we declare that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings they cannot contain (**Malachi 3:10**). Let divine connections, opportunities, and favor come their way, that they may lack no good thing (**Psalm 34:10**).
Lord, we also pray for their faith to be strengthened. Remove any idolatry or misplaced trust, and let their hearts be fully surrendered to You. If there is any sin or disobedience, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Restore their joy, peace, and hope in You, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (**Romans 8:28**).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair, commanding them to flee in Jesus’ name. Fill this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**), and let them rise up as overcomers by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony (**Revelation 12:11**).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are faithful. Let this season be a testimony of Your goodness, that many may see and glorify Your name. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. **Amen.**
